FWIW, I usually take the hair out of the drain when I plan on peeing in the shower. I don't want to be standing in my own urine for 5 minutes.

Absolutely. If I have to go before I get in the shower, I will use the toilet. But, it doesn't make sense to get out of the shower. I find it weird that someone would get out of the shower. If you have roommates, just don't tell them about it. If you do, they will act like it's gross. But, the reality is that they probably do it too.
