I am bummed. I painted our bedroom while DH is gone. I got a new bedspread, will shop for curtains tomorrow, and ordered 2 nightstands from Amazon. 2 day shipping and that was Monday. When I track it this is what it says: "A label for this shipment has been created, but UPS does not yet have possession of this shipment. Once we receive the shipment, the tracking status will be updated." Now today I get an email saying it may be delayed a day or two because of the weather. I wanted them here when DH gets home on Saturday. They need to be put together when they come. I have a feeling it won't happen. Frown

Hey all Wave I woke up feeling super sad today and I think has set my mood for the whole day. I have been having dreams about my momma, about 1-2 times a week now for the last month or so, and the one last night was very vivid and made me extra sad. I just miss her.
Anyways, I am home most of today with Soph, so that will be nice. I do have a chiro appt today at 2 and I think I will go to T again to get more bacon and nuts either before or after that appt. Not too exciting of a day here, hope y'alls is better! heart Grouphug Blowkiss

Not too exciting here for sure. DH and DS did make it in to work today. Roads are terrible. I think I'm gonna be stuck in for several days unless I make DH take me somewhere in the evenings and I'm not sure it's worth it. And, to make it even worse, my back is hurting...guess I shouldn't have moved a mountain of snow yesterday. I think I'm getting too old for that nonsense! laugh out loud It was -11 here this morning! Haven't listened to the news but guessing that's another record we broke!

Super hugs to you! I know that every experience in life is different, but even after 14 years of my mom dying and in a few more days, 11 years of my dad dying, I still miss them and get sad and mad. It has gotten easier for me over the years, but there are still times I catch myself thinking, I should call mom and tell her or ask her something. People always would tell me to "remember the good times"...I think that I had to remember some of the bad times to appreciate the good times.

HOLY CRAP COLD!!!! And here I was complaining about the cold here. Soph was playing on the back porch with chalk and so the back door was open. Its 32 here right now, so I thought I was cold laugh out loud I guess not Wink

Hello........The sun is shining in the Burg but it is as cold as hell. There is also not going to be any snow, flurrries, ice, sleet, rain or high winds, Just cold. Hooray! Good grief what a never ending winter. I need to write a song about dreaming about blossoms and green grass instead of a white Christmas. I would sell a million copies. lol Need some idas before we all go stir crazy with cabin fever.......

I still have my mom and dad so it's hard to know completely how you're feeling. My mom lost her mom (my g'ma) 10 years ago. They had a very hard relationship...G'ma was mentally abusive. Mom still has a hard time with guilt, etc. Memories have given her lots of trials in her life, even at age 71. I do know that over time she has come to realize that she did the best she could for Grandma and that is all she could have done given the situation. Give yourself time. And, whatever the feelings are, good or bad, they are valid and real. You do have the right to your feelings. hughughug

I lost my Dad it will be 9 years in March and every feeling you are having is okay and valid you need to give yourself time, I still feel the way you are feeling it is getting better there is no time limit.

hug The 1 year anniversary of my dad passing was this past Jan. It was hard. Really hard. I wish I had some words of advice, but all I can offer is a hug.

I miss my grandfather every now and then. I watched a ton of football with him, but that's because we only had one tv with cable.
