Am I the only one that thinks about things like...well...if so and so is stranded somewhere in the US, which one of my friends on here would be the closest to help them? It makes me feel more at ease that I know I could at least get on here and try to ask for some help if someone was stranded. It is an awsome feeling that people all over the country has our back. I also think we could run away to about any place in the US and have a friend there just in case we needed one!

How would you DH like it if he had to rely on your crazy on-line friends for a place to stay or to pull him out of the ditch in OK or TX??? He might like us more then!

He might laugh out loud Actually I just talked to Katie and she said that it isn't icy and acted like I was overprotective. Confused so I guess things have improved. They are going to try to go further than expected tonight before stopping so I guess he will be home earlier now. I had better get stuff done. Glad it is better for them though.

This actually happened to us. When DS was in the accident, he spent the last two of 6 months in Erie, Pa. Rehab Hospital. Dh and I went to Erie every Friday and stayed until Sunday night. Snowpuppy and her DH were coming to Erie to spend Thanksgiving with us. We had gone on Tuesday and they were coming the next day.
They got stranded about 30 miles south of the hospital. DS college Fraternity Brother found out through the internet that they were stranded. They offered to let them stay with he and his wife but in the end talked them off the interstate and onto back roads and all the way to our motel. We all got to spend Thanksgiving together in the end.

Where were they? It's snowing again in southern OK and eastern OK...Mom lives down by the southern state line. They had 8" from this last system and when I talked to her at 9:30 a.m. it was snowing again. Also heard this morning, that just south of us, in McAlester they'd already had 2".

Oh good grief...I just looked outside and it's snowing like crazy....BOOOOOO!

The prices are high but I have been buying small batches on Ebay.

They are almost 1 buck a piece but my way of thinking since I needed to buy some stuff there it was a good deal...

Plus if you buy a small batch, buy something at K's with one coupon and oops...wrong gift and have to being it back for refund you do get all what you paidWink

EEK! I just melted my new bedspread!!!!!!! Put it in the dryer to take out wrinkles. The white part of the dust ruffle melted all over!!!! Now I need to get to Kohls again. I work tonight. Might have to go in the morning. Not sure what to do. Frown
