Okay so I know I have been MIA but just way to much going on... I thought I remembered someone ( ZMMorgan maybe) on here having a child who has JRA... they are looking at that as a diagnosis for James and I would really like to talk to someone who has gone through that process since it pretty much scares a momma sh**less.....

Oh and I miss you guys!

Found these today on the Denver Post. Found them on the way to the car from DD's gym or else I would have spent the hour peelie hunting! Was able to only get a few but I am happy because I need so many things from Kohls since it has been months since I have been. Offer good in IN,CO, FL,GA,NC and TN.

So I just got back from my "high risk/c section" ob doc. He is concerned about a few things. He agrees with me that I am HUGE! Not weight wise, but baby/abd wise. I am just measuring big, so he is ordering another US for next week. Funny bc I am doing a 3D this weekend, but it is not for medical purposes, so oh well.
Also I spilling protein in my urine. Not a good thing, esp with my pre-existing kidney disease. So he is ordering a 24 hour urine, as well as some blood tests. 24 hour urine's suck!!! You have to collect it (and keep it in the fridge in this HUGE container) for 24 hours, not fun, but at least I will be home! Both my OB's are concerned with pre eclampsia and the dr today said that if something is wrong, he may take her by c section as early as 34 weeks!??! I DON'T WANT THAT, so I am freaking a little, but I am trying to stay calm, bc I know the stress isn't good either.
So if you all have some spare prayers or positive thoughts, I could use them today!

I need to ask for prayers again myself, my sister just found out she has a mass on here brain and they think it is a tumor/cancer she needs to have an MRI done to determine what it is, they sent her a letter and she received it yesterday.

I have had a really good day and am so happy for that given the stress I've been feeling lately. I spent lots of time this evening enjoying time with my kids and I just feel so lucky to have them.

I know many of you have heard it before, but I can't let the day go by without telling the story of the best birthday ever - my 26th birthday, the day of the birth of my special little guy, my DS. He's turning 4 today. On Dec. 31, 2006 we completed our homestudy and were approved for a second infant adoption so we just had to wait for our baby to come along. The second week in January we turned in our family profiles (like scrapbooks about us that they show the birth families) and told the social worker that we were going on a cruise the first week of February and after we got home we'd be ready for a baby. We went to the Bahamas and had a great time. Less than a week later, it was my birthday and a Saturday. My brother came up for the weekend and he, DH, DD and I went to the city for the day and hung out. When I walked in the house that evening, I was surprised to find about 15 of our friends there for a party! It was great. I said that it was the best birthday ever, but little did I know that it was going to get better............ on Monday the social worker called to tell us about a baby boy that had been born on Saturday- my birthday! I just knew that because he shared a special day with me that it was a sign the he was supposed to be ours. The next day we brought him home! My little guy & my DD are what makes my birthday so special to me now and I could not be more thankful.

The babe napped the last 2 days. The daycare lady tried letting her sleep in a big bed and she did it! And actually fell asleep! It's sad how happy it made me when I heard that she actually napped. It's been such a long 2 weeks when she doesn't nap. Now she's sick. We're so blessed to have such a healthy girl, so it's hard to see her not feeling good. Trying to decide if she can go to daycare tomorrow or if one of us stays home with her. I wish it was me, but dh has more days, so he will probably take the day off.

Had a doc's appt. today and all is well. I have my glucose test at my next one Baby boy is kicking so hard these days I can see it through my shirt.

Dh and I do very little to celebrate V-day and anniversaries. This year we really splurged. After debating for over a year (we really don't buy stuff we don't need very often, and when we do it's a big deal), we're getting ourselves a Nespresso coffee machine. It's just a fancy espresso/latte system that is so so so yummy and is super easy to make and clean up (that's how we roll). We got the cheapest one, and it's still cheaper than Starbucks coffee, but feels like a major splurge to us. The coffee pods are here, but we have to wait for the machine. I wish it was here right now.

Try not to stress! I will say it again- pregnancy is not for wimps!!!

Ask your doctor for another ultrasound. I was deemed high risk due to genetic issues.
If you have done the sugar test and that is negative, you are on track.
do the urine, and blood work.
If you can hold out until 36 weeks your baby and you will be better off. do not run around. Let someone else do the shopping. Goodluck to you.

Good Afternoon Friends! I see that some of you got the Philly Party. Congrats! I am still showing yellow but not holding out too much hope.......always a Bridesmaid never a Bride! Kiki so sorry to hear about Jamsies problems. Will pray that everything works out. Give him a kiss for me. I am going nuts trying to make sure my beloved Abby doesn't try to get under the shed chasing raccoons again. I don't think I can take another entrapment. I wish the sun that is shining was a little warmer. Still bitter cold during the night and early moirning. School has been delayed two hours all week because of the temps. Sorry that you guys got all that snow. This latest storm missed us again by staying further south. By Wednesday of next week, we are expecting 50 to 60 degrees. Woo-Hoo. Spring is coming.............

Just got off the phone with my sister and she got the Philly HP. It still showed yellow but got an email from info@comunicate... When she clicked it and it took her to the HP website it was still yellow and said one more step She set up the party and then got another email saying she was in and it showed up under her parties.
I am still yellow and no email.

I got the rejection for Philly, but knew I would b/c I got into Pull-Ups, and that's the one I really wanted! Even though I've had kids in diapers for nearly 6 years straight now, I'd never gotten a dip hp! Does anyone know the q's that come with the Pull-Ups hp? Jason is getting ready to potty train, and I could really use some more free dipes!

On that note, does anyone still have any dipes leftover from the Target Pampers extravaganza? I am completely out, except for a few packages of EasyUps, and J will burn through those quickly enough! What a fabulous deal that was- it is going to kill me to buy dipes for Maddie! Though I'm hoping to combine the T dipe q with the manf. q's I get from the hp at Publix!

i've been off for a while, and am trying to catch up now, so I'm going to work my way backwards and see how long Butters will let me go!

Dh and I are also huge coffee lovers, and we love our Tassimo machine! You guys are goingt o be amazed at how easy it is when you don't have to wash a pot and make coffee!

You tell it, sista! I know I'm far behind, but so glad that you got the good news about dh and your baby. When do you find out the sex? I'm thinking girl from the last ultrasound where she didn't see a penis! Are you guys hoping for a particular sex? Not that I would know anything about that. :whistle:

Thinking of you and sending calming thoughts! I've dona alot of research, and have found that maternal stress can harm the baby more than alot of the things we worry about (which I know, it's impossible to not worry about our miracles) but you need to do everything you can to keep calm and stress-free. And you know we are always here, and amongst all of us mommas, we have a wealth of great knowledge, so if you worry, just come on and one of us (usually Rach, she always seemed to calm me down) will talk it through with you. Daniel came on his own at 37 weeks, and was my easiest and healthiest delivery, so I am sending good thoughts to baby Lily (how I LOVE that name!)


Having a wonderful support system like Momma Junie is one of the most important things you can have!
