well, safeway is also Randall's and Tom Thumb (which we have here). If I can find them I will get them. Didn't know any coupon books existed but Tom Thumb is one of the best stores to find coupons at.

OK, I think I have the K-cup thing figured out...here is the order...

tm4d ----> SlickCate ----> Flugette ----> Dazzled ----> M2C ----> tootsie ----> l2b ----> tm4d

Now, I spent all this time trying to figure out the most economical way to mail this only to find out that according to the USPS site the cost for first class is only dependent on how many ozs.

You would think it would cost them more to send the same thing all the way across the country than just a couple hundred miles

Then again this is the USPS we are talking about

I will send everyone a PM here in the next couple days with the addy of the person you are sending to.

ETA: be sure to let me know if I left anyone out!! Didn't do so intentionally and I think I got everybody but I've been known to miss things

Glad you found your blocks.. Reminds me of a funny conversation from the other night. DH and I were looking at toy clearance and he found a tub of mega blocks at 50% and asked if I wanted it.. I told him that I didn't want it cause I had just gotten my DD a set on the trios in the pink tote thing for Christmas (got it in the July clearance for 75%).. Anyway, we both just looked at each other for a minute and laughed cause we just realized that we never got the thing down from the attic and gave it to her at Christmas

.. I knew it was up there, had planned on giving it, but on Christmas Eve when he raided the attic, it totally slipped my mind.. So, now either she has one more birthday gift for this week, or it will be a mid spring or summer treat for her.. I kinda feel like you do about your DD, they get so many new things in December and January because of their birthday, that it would be nice to spread the gifts out.

Thanks for organizing the kcup thing..I can't wait!

We found a couple things we forgot about just recently too

I was looking at my toy clearance pic from this year and then looking back at last year and noticed some things that I really didn't think we'd given dd yet but that I didn't recall seeing anywhere. Anyway, went down to the basement and sure enough dug them out.....an Our Generation doll crib and the Elmo tickle hands

Not like they were small things.....just got pushed back between some stuff where we couldn't see them.

Ended up working out though because my mom is giving dd a nice doll and all these preemie/nb clothes she's been buying on clearance for her bday so I just gave her the crib to go with it all

Thanks, we go through Skippy at light speed and it is my dh's preferred brand....plus our grocery stores does seem to run it on sale pretty frequently for around $1 or so....so if I could get ahold of some and they'd run a sale I'd be elated. Even w/o a super sale it'd be good.

I just know I got DD#3 the MLP remote control car thing but I never found it. It leads me to believe that I have an entire box of toys somewhere because once I buy something for xmas it goes right into a box to hide from the kids.

I'd add a bit of variety if possible.....I have a lot of different ones right now so I am going to put in 10 different ones I think. Of course if a person only has a few different ones then they'd only have that many different flavors to put in

ETA: the next person doesn't have to take all 10 out either if they don't want to....they can just take what they want and replace them with their own

hodgepodge of things without multiquotes because i am jumpy from relentless intense pain today:

nikayla... i didn't get in on any of the free credits either. BUT referral credits work just as well.

dinners... didn't have the wherewithal to cook. had been eating small things unwillingly today just as cushioning for the pain meds. but then dinner time came along and the thought was, maybe we need some distraction: a nice meal, some fun tv, an attempt to forget pain for a bit. so that's what it was.
pulled out the pizza dough my mixer had made on sunday pre-football game. the plan was for a pizza party but when the game went to eternal damnation in a handbasket, everyone lost their appetites and the pizza never got made. courtesy of lying out extra hours the dough was super elasticy and deliciously yeasty and rose beautifully while cookiing. :yum:
we're out of salad greens, so pizza and a drink it was to be.
the mushrooms got ruined

so we were running low on different all veggie toppings. so i created one from scratch: caramelized onions and proscuitto, with fresh mozzarella, parmesan and goat cheese, topped with fresh basil and parsley. yummy it turned out. that's going to get made again!

clearly a trip to store is needed soon. sigh. but for tonight there was yummy filling food and good distraction. and now the pain is knocking loudly again.
and i am wiped out from answering that knock all day and all night long.

little victories, right? little victories. we'll take em.

love you guys. there was something else i meant to say but i can't remember. so if someone had mentioned something gg'ish or asked a question of me, please do so again.

Holy hip pain batman! I just had to get up and take 2 motrin because my right hip/lower back/side is killing me. I had it a little last night, but tonight is worse. WTF is this??? I'm sitting in the recliner because laying down is unbearable. I think I'm going to have to call the dr tomorrow because this sucks.
