i caved and ate an oatmeal raisin cookie that i got from fuddruckers yesterday for signing up for their club. hey, like dh said, it was no longer fresh-baked. didn't want it to go stale! but now i'm good. going to sleep soon so i don't eat any more.

wrote back to you. sorry missed out on it - have gotten rather absentminded these days with the meds and pain. how i'm feeling - in pain all the time or most of the time. meds knock me out which is why you guys don't hear from me.
we never used tide. then last year there was a FAC deal so i bought a few bottles as stockpile figuring it's just detergent.
i am allergic to tide - skin allergies - i discovered. ditto tide stain release. so i gave my bottles to sis to use. turns out she is allergic, too. poor thing, it's been making her eyes burn and sting. and making her cough, nose all burning. she just did several loads of laundry and now tomorrow she has to rewash all her clean laundry.
but sweetie that she is, she said she'll exchange the unopened bottles for me so i can get method. what a darling.
gg, dh is allergic to Wisk. I haven't noticed problems with any other detergents but I keep a watch out for it. If there were better All coupons and sales I would buy that more often than I currently do.
I need some insurance help. My mom has some issues and has no life insurance. I need to find something kind of inexpensive and reputable so she has some kind of coverage. I'm not the oldest child but somehow it ends up I have to be the responsible one. *sigh*

ALL... i have never tried it though I know friends who use it. we used to use cheer. like the smell etc, though it never goes on sale. but then read that tide and cheer (along with a bunch of other conventional detergents) have high concentrations of a byproduct chemical known to damage liver, kidneys and nervous system, and suspected to be a carcinogen in humans because it is in animals. and it is watersoluble.
so i decided to finish up what i had and switch. we've started using method and like it. but i might try an even greener route. we'll see. atleast method is safer than what we were using before and there are coupons and sales. so i feel good about that.

You know we are getting ready to build the last room in the basement. Since it was previously an unfinished basement someone had built in cabinets along a bumped out wall. The base cabinets went bye bye. But there is a 10' section of very well built, sturdy, wooden wall cabinets now sitting on the basement floor waiting to go out to my garage and be put up. They will fit perfectly between two windows along the side. I already have 3 wall cabinets from the kitchen out there (one is a corner) so this will make a nice L-shape -- I even have a fridge cabinet for over the window. How cute is that. I'll let ya fantasize about what kind of stuff will go in them. I am already having organizing and labeling fantasies.
I'm working on designing a built in the area where those cabinets were. We have to cover the incoming water line and water meter (while being able to access them) plus we need to put a water softener in that end -- so a closet has to be incorporated. So, gotta hide that but make it all purdy.
If you want to do some 3-D scale drawings check out Google Sketch Up. It's free and it's pretty awesome. I did one of a whole house. You can walk from room to room and see in one room from another or from outside --through the windows or doors. It takes a while to get the hang of it but you can do some very cool stuff.
Other than nearly killing ourselves getting those cabinets out (and a little more work down there) we didn't do anything really exciting this weekend. Went to a gun show. Fondled the gun I want, but didn't buy anything.
Morning. Not a good morning, but morning none the less. (I got a print job stuck in my printer, and the printer wouldn't delete it, so I've already totally uninstalled and reinstalled my printer this morning... at least I'm printing again, so that's better than where I was).
TCC Waggers opinions please. Did you like the type out of the ad with some matchups or not? Be truthful with me. I don't mind typing it up, but I was surprised that very few folks added Qs. I'm used to seeing the entire ad in the Publix and Kroger ad. Without the matchups and folks posting 1000 posts a week, it is difficult to see what ELSE in the ad is a decent deal (besides RRs) to help spend your RRs (and not just roll them for products you don't need or want). PM me if you don't want to post here.

Watched a cute movie the other night - It Happened to Jane, with Doris Day and Jack Lemmon. I love Doris Day anyway, but I think this is one of the best movies I've seen her in. I was actually reminded of Meg Ryan in quite a few of the scenes, just some of her mannerisms and overall quirkiness. Very cute, and highly recommend it!
