Already threw a roast in the crockpot so dinner won't be a last minute thought. I don't do well at all with last minute. Either we end up with something quick like grilled cheese, soup, etc.. or I let the kids talk me into take out.. I am trying to get my meals planned out earlier, so all goes well. I worked all day yesterday and made dinner Sunday night.. All the family had to do was toss the pan in the oven for 30 minutes and dinner was done. DH appreciated it being taken care of when he got home and they said it was good.. I am going to try to start making out a menu plan for the week and see how that goes.. Does anyone do that?? DO you make it for the week, the month, or just as you go?
pain is back again badly and making it hard to breathe. family needs me to take care of financial stuff so i'm holding off on the meds. thanks for asking sweetie!
meal planning... i generally used to informally plan 2-3 days of meals in that i would make a list before going to store.
now since we are only managing groceries once every 2-3 weeks
planning is tedious even for 3-4 days. but on the flip side, it allows you to get more fresh stuff. we don't freeze chicken, meat or fish - no one here likes the taste of the frozen stuff, it just takes more chickeny, meaty, fishy cos the proteins change -- so we always buy those fresh. and we eat lots of produce, so i only plan that in terms of cooked sides, and then just go pick up the rest on a whim (radishes, cukes salad greens etc).
harder to do on this 2-3 week shopping schedule but works well otherwise.

at any rate, tons and tons of people's orders were just canceled randomly or left hanging with no response. bank accounts/credit cards charged but cards not delivered. orders wrongly canceled and then told well we're sorry but the deal has closed so we can give you nothing but would you like a $10 credit to LS to use sometime in the future? um no. people don't want to pay for a credit to LS!
others have gotten emails saying we determined that you have placed a duplicate order, even though they never did but apparently they have a common name and someone else somewhere in the country placed an order for the deal.
LS is not responding to anyone's emails so people are getting frustrated. people are trying to post complaints on their twitter and FB pages but getting sporadic responses if at all. calling them gets people nowhere also.
to make matters worse in the past people who bought stuff from LS said they ended up with fake charges on their card so now everyone is going into their LS accounts and deleting emails and cc info.
need i go on?

my sister ordered one. her LS account shows 1 amazon card unused, but when she clicks on it it just goes to the page showing sold out. no code. she was also charged.
we both got emails saying you've ordered twice. we hadn't.
we both wrote to them several times. no response. got tired of waiting. got tired of having money held up with no return. i was trying to buy one so that an SD friend gets credit and gets hers for free since she's going through rough times. feel bad now that they messed that up for her. bah.
so much hassle for 10 bucks - not worth it. i'll just return to getting my gcs for free from sb.
