Anyone try the Chocolate flavor of Food Should Taste Good chips? They are really good! A little bit of chocolate, vanilla and sea salt and crunch. No one here likes any of these chips, so they are always all MINE! laugh out loud

nik, kay, thank you both for the advice. ok, guess i'll forego the driving and will look at bus routes or subway and bus and see if maybe i can do a little at least. maybe in the morning before snow comes. had hoped to do today but don't have the qs yet and have been in a lot of pain today (not sure why, it's so idiosyncratic).

i just called my regular Whole foods and asked if I call in or email in what I need will you deliver to me? explained why i can't get there. they already deliver for $7 -- same as an hour of zipcar -- but I didn't know if they would allow me to call in/email an order and let them do the shopping. guy was hesitant but then said since you are a regular, call the delivery person in the morning and ask. so I will. sigh.
that will get some fresh stuff in here, but still won't solve the grocery sale problem. guess i'll do what i can with it on thursday. that's all i can do. Frown

nik, agree with you on wanting to bash the food industry. i've been disgusted to learn what big business is putting in all our household products and our food. seems the only thing that matters is shelf life and profitability. very sad. and now to see so many pets getting terminally ill with the same diseases that humans are getting, makes me pause to say what are we doing to these poor hapless animals. rant over. i'll go watch snow coverage now. where they'll put so much snow i don't know.

Just called my closest Sonic and they sell the ice in a 10# bag for only $1.83. Gonna try and get some tonight! Thanks for all who chimed in on this, I can't wait to enjoy this at home.

it's in the single digits here with wind chill. come here and you could toss some water in saran wrap and leave em in the many cracks, fissures and potholes on the roads. make some ice in tiny crackly shapes within minutes. it will be free.

Yep, ice, and it's 32° here! Sometimes you have to have a cocktail on ice to start the warm up process. LMAO

I didn't know they had chocolate!! DH and I love the Olive and the other kind that I can't remember the name of (has sunflower, flax, yada yada in it...) Thems is good!

I inherited glass bakeware from my grandma - LUV it. Smilie I found stainless steel bakeware at Sam's once upon a time - it's been at least 5 years since I"ve been there, but it may be worth a peek.

Well, that's all I can remember right now. Brain is fried and whatnot.

I found a set of towels at Target by HOME , it was nearly a complete set. I am IDSO THIS TIP TOWEL [target.com] I got it for $2.98 - $1.50 beeping TQ, if anyone spots one I would love to work something out but it is only for fun and I can't pay full retail.

If you stay in NC long enough (from what I hear), you'll get to experience the Publix phenomena for yourself. All the HT'ers in Charlotte can't wait! I read on HCW that they are building a Publix in Rock Hill, SC. . . just across the boarder of NC and Charlotte.
