Go ahead and laugh at me today. Breakfast was a fruit and sweets fondue as a Valentine's treat from the office manager. Lunch is PF Chang's catered in by a drug rep. Laugh all you want, it's a yummy day!

I have used a low cal recipe from Kraft for meatloaf. Will have to look for the link, it uses a box of Stove Top Stuffing, great way to use up that stockpile!

I just wanted to post that I finally tried making the chicken in the crockpot. I just dumped the entire pack of chicken right into the crockpot. It turned out awesome! Perfect. I am going to make more tonight and cook it with BBQ sauce. Going to make pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches tonight yummy
yummy Sounds delicious!!!

I heart Paula Deen's basic meatloaf [foodnetwork.com], with the brown sugar/mustard/ketchup glaze. I've only made it twice, but it was Licklips both times.
Looks good! I may have to try it sometime. Mine was not sweet, pretty basic actually. Used hamburger, saltines, milk (soak milk and saltines while you are getting everything else ready, makes it more moist), ketchup, worcestershire sauce, onion powder, minced garlic and eggs. yummy

I add cubes of cheddar cheese in my meatloaf. Sometimes add a little bread but do not use oatmeal. I use a little tomato sauce in the recipe and top with it.

I make serving size balls instead of a loaf.

That does sound good. All this crockpot talk has me craving my crockpot version of beer cheese potato soup.

I'm trying real hard to stick to a lower carb diet but this cold weather just screams for warm comforting carb rich food like this.

Is there a % off Kohls B&M coupon?

I am actually scared to ask in the Kohls thread.

Gt can't go. She is too weak from dieting so she must just sit here and drool as lisa brags about her yummy day. Lisapdreamer.... I remember her. She used to come to a private little group where we talk about lettuce. Now I see why she is absent.. she is cheating on us with good food.

Oh sure, taunt us with your yummy food then brag about your weight loss while eating the yummy food. I think you might have a little bit of a mean streak! Stick Out Tongue

Seriously though, that's a wonderful achievement.

Thanks! Not quite enough to be eligible to donate bone marrow, but can still work on that. I force myself to take the stairs, we have offices on the 3rd and 4th floor. Only take the elevator if I am carrying too many charts. I have the urge to begin running again, my DH suggested the 'couch to 5k program'. I am looking for the 'slouch to couch' program to start with!Big Grin

Congrats to you!!!

Now I have a program..designed it myself..it's called the 'slouch on the couch'. It involves minimal work. The most difficult part is balancing the plate on your lap along with the laptop. Anybody can do it really, it just takes time and practice. You will be balancing in no time, soon you will be able to master it, you will balance the plate, the laptop and be able to bring the fork to your mouth without everything falling to the floor. woot

Don't get me started on the ped dental apts. I'm SO bad about taking the kids because I loath it as well. What makes it worse is that I've yet to find one I love or even really like, so we just keep hopping around trying a new one each time he needs to go.

*snip*
OMG We actually got a good one on the first try and dd was sooooo good I went to T. after and she picked out a little prize Wink I seriously picked a dentist pretty much from looking at them online because I needed one myself and decided to ask them if they take kids too and they said yes and explained their philosophy on how they do it when they are this young --- how they don't push them too much, etc. LOVED that and hoped it would be good and it was.

I had the *worst* dentist experiences as a child....went to a ped. dentist and was sent to an ortho by 4th grade....between the dentist and the ortho. they decided I needed a bunch of teeth extracted because my mouth was too small to get my teeth all straight with braces alone. They pulled about 4 teeth total and I went back to the ortho. who said I needed MORE pulled. I REFUSED to go....and luckily my mom did not make me (I was a strong-willed kid and would have run away before she made me go back there.) Anyway, fast forward to my senior year of high school when she gave me one more shot for braces before I was off of her insurance...

Different dentist, different orthodontist and surprise bulb this ortho. says HECK NO they did NOT need to pull all of those teeth and that I would now have two gaps in my upper teeth Mad So, to this day I have tooth-sized spaces to the right and left of my two front teeth. At some point when we can afford to I will likely have a bridge made. Or I could have implants done but I really don't want those. My retainers have fake teeth in them so I can still wear them for pics and stuff if I need to but I typically do not because I can't talk right with them in. It still makes me angry to this day and I do not want dd having a similar bad experience Frown

Dentist we went to when we were young, can hardly remember. The first time I smelled whiskey, I told my Mom that it reminded me of the dentist. Didn't go there any longer!!
