Right on the Homosassa River. Lovely place. We see manatees and dolphins swim by on a regular basis.

The water here is brackish, so a lot of the time the dolphins find themselves up in the river. Good for fishing because they scare the fish close to the riverbanks. I will post a picture if I happen to get a good one. Smilie

This is cute and thought you gals would get a laugh:

The Washington Post's Mensa Invitational once again invited readers to take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing one letter, and supply a new definition.

Here are the winners:

1. Cashtration (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the subject financially impotent for an indefinite period of time.

2. Ignoranus : A person who's both stupid and an asshole.

3. Intaxication : Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you realize it was your money to start with.

4. Reintarnation : Coming back to life as a hillbilly.

5. Bozone ( n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of breaking down in the near future.

6. Foreploy : Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of getting laid..

7. Giraffiti : Vandalism spray-painted very, very high

8. Sarchasm : The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn't get it.

9. Inoculatte : To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.

10. Osteopornosis : A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit.)

11. Karmageddon : It's like, when everybody is sending off all these really bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a serious bummer.

12. Decafalon (n.): The grueling event of getting through the day consuming only things that are good for you.

13. Glibido : All talk and no action.

14. Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.

15. Arachnoleptic Fit (n.): The frantic dance performed just after you've accidentally walked through a spider web.

16. Beelzebug (n.): Satan in the form of a mosquito, that gets into your bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.

17. Caterpallor ( n.): The color you turn after finding half a worm in the fruit you're eating.

Thank you. I would be awestruck just knowing they are there and well, my family would think I abandoned them as I would be glued to the water.

Hey does anyone do Childcare FSAs? We've never set one up but it will save us good tax $ if we do. It seems like a PITA to get reimbursed for it

Never did one before, but I've done the healthcare FSA. The PITA is having to pay upfront to your provider then submitting the receipt and waiting for the reimbursement. Unless your plan has a nifty visa attached to it - which some now do. That makes it nicer because you can usually pay with visa (assuming your provider takes a visa) and not wait.

It is nice that it reduces your taxable income and is like a forced savings for that stuff.

Bunnies - that is sooo funny!

Enjoyed that. Thank you.

I want to fish soooooooo badly. And, no, I'm not going ice fishing and even with this nice weather, I doubt if we have had any water open up yet.

Gonna make a road trip late this afternoon. My mom lives a little over 4 hours away and apparently my sisters have decided that she doesn't need to be making the drive up here alone anymore. (She's 80 and in perfect health) We were planning to meet in the middle to pass her off on Sunday. Their forecast is fine but mine is showing sleet and freezing rain. The temps are supposed to be hovering right around the "eww it's slushy and yucky" and "OMG it's solid ice" point. So it's a crap shoot what it will actually be. Change of plans, we are passing the mother today.

Guess I'd better get the stuff I plan to do today done so I can be ready to go around 4 if my sister leaves early.

The real question here is, why wouldn't I want to get you in trouble bounce
I am a super trouble maker, it's Friday, I'm bored...

Not really bored...Friday's is my meeting day for work. I work from home so once a week, I need to go in and/or do a tele-conference and of course get my $$

Be safe out there today!

We did it before. It wasn't that bad, we just had to fill out a paper and send it in with our proof of paying and they would send you back the $.
I am doing it this year for healthcare since I know we will have a hefty bill soon!

Thank you guys... the bright side of things (if there is one) is that everything is now out and I dont have to have this weight on my shoulders going "when is it going to come out"... its not something I did.
Ewe, I hate situations like that, and I pray that everything turns out to the very best possibilities in your favor. I am so glad it isn't something you did though hug Stay strong, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, or so I hear.

hug Sorry you guy is feeling so yucky!

Mavis and I have been trading kisses and she *just* figured out how to blow raspberries on my cheek. She is laughing and having a grand old time slobbering up my cheeks.
I am glad you are feeling better. I would scold you for putting off the Dr appt but I do the same thing, make sure you mention it at your next visit, soon hopefully.

TY and I hope lilB is un-onery and cranky soon.

That is so cute she learned how to do raspberries, lilB loves giving them too, he gets me so slobbery I have to grab a papertowell to dry my face off.

I'm headed to SC to see my niece play college hoops, so I should be back late Sunday night if all goes well (and I get a Harris Teeter run in at sheysaves' Teeter).
