We just rearranged the living room and I'm exhausted. The funny thing is that DH & DD did most of the big/heavy work. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Maybe I'm just uber out of shape. My allergies are going Whee though - too much dust. Seemed like no matter how much I swept, there were more and more dust bunnies!

Went to JoAnn fabrics and got some yarn for a baby blanket I'm making a friend. I was pretty excited to use that coupon. Wish I'd had it earlier in the week! I guess I need to do a deal alert for JoAnn's because that was super awesome.

Went to a used book store today and bought some books for my 3 y.o. and our little neighbour girl. It was fun. We had credit from the last time we'd taken books in to them, and still have $15 left!

We (me & the girls) also went to IHop. I kind of hated to spend the money on eating out, but we were HUNGRY and since we got our tax return... well... Hide I splurged a bit. Unfortunately, I was that annoying customer today - you know the one... 3 kids... one baby that squeals and makes plenty of noise. One toddler who is dropping silverware everywhere. One mom dumping entire cups of coffee all over herself and the table... Yeah. That was us. But... it was nice. No cooking, no clean up.

Totally did not get to Target or Kroger today. But... there's next week, right? Smilie

Oh and the shopping. Yeah - much harder to get deals anymore. Prices have gone up, coupons are lower, stores have more restrictions and/or folks who don't have a clue.

Has anyone *seen* the next round of P&G's? Just wondering if anyone knows if they are On Target or Kmart Smart.

I peeked in the thread Ariel linked.. So, I am guessing if each code in unique, then you have to get your hands on multiple magazines the coupons are in? Where are you guys finding so many of them? Or you trading for them all, or buying them on the bay? It seems like when I looked at prices, they were high enough that the deal became not so slick.. I would love to stock up for my SIL who is expecting Smilie


I feel like I have been MIA lately.. Been such a crazy week with me not feeling good at the beginning of the week.. My DS not feeling well with his tooth, and then I ended up working almost 15 hours yesterday.. I have been so tired today, can't wait til bedtime..

I did make it out to enjoy the beautiful weather some today. Went to get an estimate on some car repairs Frown, then took my DD to the park.. Then tonight my DH agreed to watch the kids and let me go out alone for some retail therapy.. Had a great trip to Publix woot and a quick run to CVS.. Felt much better after that Smilie

late check-in here.

drove into the city to have brunch w/ my sil who was going back home to italy today. ended up going shopping w/ her for few hrs until time to go to the airport. wish she would stop overpaying for dvd's already! she knows if she tells us ahead of time, we can shop around and order them b4 she comes. she always ends up paying full price b/c she never plans ahead. and then she paid full price for candy! Faint

she always complains about the price of clothing there for her kids so she buys some of it here and even has her sister order online for her. don't understand why she can't do that for the dvd's. it's even easier.

i did talk her into shopping for her ipod touch on black friday since she isn't getting it right away and she'll be here thanksgiving. i told her how i could have gotten it almost half price last yr.

If you have a Burlington Coat Factory near you check there, they have the Baby Talk mag for free there at the baby registry desk. I got a ton of them there. Also, check dr's offices, hospitals, ect bc some of the codes are coming in the free mags they get.
I have only found 1 $10 code and that was in Fit Pregnancy. I have had to trade for all the rest. I am still looking for more $10 codes.

Thanks, there isn't a Burlington close.. But, I will look around.. I work at the hospital, so maybe I can take a walk up to the maternity floor and look for some baby mags in the waiting roomCool

Yep, burlington coat factory and Babies R Us. I have found that the TRU/BRU combo stores don't have them (at least here) but the single babies r us stores do. They are at the registry counter at both stores.

I am that mom that has one kid staring at the people behind us in the booth with her finger up her nose, the 4 year old that's singing her ABC's (loudly), backwards, and proud of it while showing everyone her ketchup covered fries IN HER MOUTH, the 7 year old that's trying to convince me to stop at Target on the way home and get him a toy because he never gets anything wah wah, and the 1 year old that's arching her back and screaming because I won't let her have chips and hot sauce.

Meanwhile, DH is playing his farking IPOD while I'm trying to get the kids to control themselves and all I really wanna do is stab DH in the face with a fork, drop the kids off at daycare, and go to the casino.

By the way, do you use disposable liners in your cloth diapers?

My toddler has started doing that now and it is so gross vomit I don't remember my other kids being such "eaters" . She did tell me one day that "little boys like to see it" when she picked her nose laugh out loud

Good luck on the mags.. I can't believe I totally missed this deal until now. I am gonna put some friends and family out searching for them Smilie
