That Huggies MQ, Pray it is friendly as well. I am so glad you have more time to study for the Bar, SIL had to pass the CA Bar and then moved to UT and had to take it again. She passed and has just opened her own lil law firm, she does bankruptcy.
That's awesome about SIL. Brave for opening her own firm...once she gets settled into practice, I am sure it will really pay off. Sad to say bankruptcy is the best area of law to be in right now.

Yes, I wish more states had reciprocity with Bar admission. It's kind of a racket making people pay to take exams but I believe that there are some states that should recognize that you are admitted in another jurisdiction.

Wave Morning meanies! hug

Yesterday morning I was hanging out with my toddler and he wanted to be picked up, as always, and when I put him down something happened to my back. I felt a twinge but it didn't hurt so I went to sit down to eat lunch. When I stood up I could not stand up straight and my back was killing me. Ugh!!! We had a tax appt too so after hobbling to and from that DH took me to the chiropractor and it helped so much, very sore but I could stand up straight.

My back is still killing me today, and while I am not as hunched over as yesterday (like a 90 yr old granny on a walker) I can't stand totally straight. Frown DS is constantly wanting to be picked up and held too. I think part of him being extra clingy is that he has not been nursing for almost a month. It is killing my back! I wasn't able to shop yesterday and am pretty sure I can't today, ugh! I'm not that old, I need to start core training again. I had back pain yrs ago and strength and core training fixed it. I haven't done any since he was born, just mostly cardio.

TY for all your wikki work, I think I need to check it out, I am behind again but that is nothing new. hug I think shopping with those people would make me want to run head first straight into the wall at Target, at least then being knocked out until they were done, oh wait they would not be able to shop at all with out you. Sorry they drive you batty, they are to dependant.
But it leads to the most favorite part of pay day at check out and full to overflowing freezer, fridge, and cupboards. Wink
Hi, I do the same thing, read, almost catch up and then get pulled back into the RL vortex before I can post. Glad DD is home and all went well, including shopping. Oh how I would have loved a mom who knew how to coupon like we do or that there were coupons then (clothes) like there are now.

I love my mom dearly but I hated that we always had to shop at thrift stores, not only that but the clothes were very shabby, needed repairs, hems, taken in, patches, zippers, etc. I have found and bought new looking clothes at thrift shops so not sure if the general quality was worse back then or that we could only afford the more poor quality ones. Either way shopping clearance rack and having coupons I get a better deal on brand new clothing than what is charged at the thrift stores now.

I missed a few weeks of circulars too, and when I went out to get a paper last Sunday the only few papers left had only one RP so I only got one paper. I didn't get much last Sun either.

The couponing really came in handy when she was in college, used to save up cleaning ,health and beauty supplies and send a HUGE care package UPS . I found it was cheaper to send one MONDA package then a bunch of little ones.

Her roomates , off campus housng , ( she changed roomates three times over the course of school ) acted like it was christmas !!! They loved and appreciated it and said it made a huge difference in their very limited for some of them budget. The last one has caught the afflication herself, WinkI am so proud of her !

I tried to convice dd to sell her xtrra extra for some cash, but she was like these are my friends ... just gave the excess away. I sent waay to much .... she gave away her stockpile when she came home because she knew she was coming to an even larger stash here.

Yeah I shopped thrift stores for a long time ,was fortunate to do it in wealthy areas, used to get aerpostle, banana repulic ll bean tons of name brands , some with tags still on alot more than you would think .
I could do better there than Target or elsewhere for name brand nice things that usually where just last seasons that had been little worn. No more, first it has gotten really chic to shop thrift stores , plus they are now charging riduclous prices.

I just really love haaving the discretionary money going for things I want instead of tp, laudry , dish detergent. It is so much more fun !!! bounce.

I did manage to get to the store for that lousy RP insert , there was only 1 good Q in their . and now I don't even remember what it was.

I started qpons at cvs easy, no hassel and saved a fortune in a very short time . The key is rolling those xtra bucks , occaisonaly I had to buy some things I didn't need or couldn't use just to keep those rolling,
but not often and then I just donated them. Then I de discovered when I needed to return something that when you return something paid for with ecb they refund you a gift card so that helps.
I also managed to supply my son with diapers , wipes and etc from there. I truly love my cvs the way alot of people luv target.

The T's in my area are tough and not q friendly at all, more like hostile, but i keep trying, unti until I get so infurated I take a break .
I guess it just depends with them which T you shop. I really don't know whether it's personal attitudes with mine or lack of training and I'm to the point I stopped trying to figure it out.
I would prbly love them as much as cvs if it weren't for the hassels.

Wags is further from me and I still haven't managed to wrap my head around that though I have tried., and the limits on brand for register RR just makes it way compicated for me.

Rite aid s is closer , but the changed their program and it's compicated now also and somehow , I haven't had time to re- learn though I need to . They have great deals also , and are pretty reasonable usually.

Hope your back issues clear up soon. .

Guess you won't see this anyways since I'm blocked Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Not really directed at you, per se, but I always wonder how people find references to themselves like this. Do they do a search on their own username? Do one of their minions alert them when anything less than savory is posted? I find it difficult enough to keep up on the few threads I frequent - more power to ya if you have such vast amounts of free time to pounce on any and all who mention your name (or did they?!).

Great time shopping today!

No I don't have vast amounts of time and I don't have a group of minions to do my bidding. I have deal alerts set up with my username and I do have friends that felt it was inappropriate and let me know. I would do the same for any one of my friends.
Whether or not my username was completely typed out or not it was obviously addressed towards me since I am the only Princess in the PUBLIX thread.
Just find it childish that people choose to talk about others behind their backs. I have never ever done that ONCE on SD's since I've been a member.

Bunnies, I thought of you when I saw the dolphins this morning. This was the best picture i could get. Mind you, it's taken from the other side of the river...probably 1/4 mile away. There were 2 of them, just playing in the river. so cool.

I agree with that. My neighbor is a Mensa member. Obviously way smarter than me, but we can carry on a good conversation.

Hi Wave I'm usually in HD and never posted here but I saw this thread and was not sure if you guys saw it....
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=223422&t=2693199

I go to Target at least 3 times a week so I will post anything good that I find.

May have been posted but yesterday they had TONS of the plush Mario backpacks 75% off...I want to say $3.74....also the regular Mario backpacks were 75% off.

In the freezer section they had the TGI Fridays cheese sticks on clearance for $2.18. My DD loves them so I got a few. There were peelie coupons on them that the clerk took off and used for $2.00 off. They did not beep but I saw that they said TGI skillet on them. Oh well...good deal.
Sorry if this all has been posted. Smilie

Well it was one sentence asking if I was a member of Mensa... I answered the question honestly so I'm not sure what you are getting at.

IDK I think IQ has little to do with real life most of the time.
There are lots of people that I know that I consider way smarter than myself but didn't even finish high school or a higher degree for that matter. I feel we should all be proud of our achievement's, sports, academic's, and whatever else we try to do.

LOVE that pic! I would love to be sitting out there drinking coffee while the sun was coming up.

Really I'm very insulted to see that I've being bad mouthed in another thread.
Typically I would take something like this to PM but since you made it "open" then I think it's only fair I say my piece. I have never ever said or did anything to you for you to openly bash me. Infact I repped you and took up for you when they made the horrible comment about weight and size.
I'm not sure what your "Beef" is with me but I have only tried to be helpful to everyone that posts in the PUBLIX thread.
Next time try speaking to people you have a problem with instead of talking about them behind their back.
I did not expect this from you as I highly respected you previously.

Geez... guess I should have come over here and read before because it seems like there's been a lot PUBLIX thread bashing going on.
Oh well at least I realize what's what now.
Once again I'm just surprised people feel the need to talk about other's behind there backs... really sad.
Either 'she' or your 'ego' mean a great deal to you. Your bright (I noted the Mensa thingy), you have more important things to do then to worry about who is saying things about you. Does it really matter? I can only imagined how many phone calls were made this week that mentioned me, or how many PM's went out about me, or office gossip. It is what it is.

Generally when people don't care for me..I don't actively seek out what they are saying. What purpose does it serve? Now your feelings are all twisted up and you felt the need to lash out. It accomplished nothing.

I don't think I lashed out... I don't have an EGO per say but it's about at least respecting or tolerating others which I don't feel was shown to me.

I think it's about deciding what's important. Is it really important that I find out what is being said about me behind my back, or is it more important to me to cherish my friends and spend that time with them?

I see it as giving priority and head space. If someone is talking about me, more power to them. I am not going to give them my head space.

How many times have you talked about someone behind their back? How many times have you come home and said to your hubby, mother, father, whomever that your boss is a "we-nee".

Nothing horrible was said about you. Nothing life changing. Nothing slanderous. It might have been said that you 'snicker' a little too much. You find 'fault' or you think your the 'princess' and all others are froggies. It's not worth the time you are giving it.
