Good luck to you muffies, get your rest! Hope all goes well.

Has anyone used canned pumpkin with cake mix or brownie mix, as a substitute for the eggs, oil, and water? Recipes of what you like please. I'll probably just experiment but seems like there was some talk about this a while back. My Albertson's had Libby's canned pumpkin for .50 today, and it's not short dated. Looking to try something new.

I used chocolate cake mix with a can of pumpkin. It was pretty good but not something I would make again.

Maybe it is just me but I did not care for it.

Pumpkin and chocolate chip cookies are yummy! Only other thing I have used it in is doggie treats, it's good for their tummies!

Yeah, I've been Google-ing and have found controversial opinions! I'll probably try it with a brownie mix and see how it goes.

Thank you so much! There's a recipe I've used a couple of times on the Hungry Girl site that's REALLY good! Let me do some looking and see if I wrote it down anywhere.

I've used them with both Chocolate, spice and carrot cake mix with pretty good results. akageorge in the BS thread is the person that I know has 'experimented' the most with this. Very moist. Great for those with cholestrol (sp) issues.
