Morning Yawn Ank, I am with you on the tiredness today.. Didn't get home from work until 4:30. By the time I changed and relaxed a minute, I went to climb into bed and found out my toddler was stretched out across the entire bed with her daddy. I went back to the couch. Dozed off on the couch around 6 am, and my DH woke me at 8 to tell me he was leaving and DD was awake.. And, I am totally out of cream and so I can't have any coffee EEK! I feel horrible!

Wanted to get so much done today, but don't feel like moving.. Ordered some coupons over the weekend, hope they come soon!
I'm right there with ya dear, tired and I haven't accomplished what I hoped to, haven't yet replied to stuff I meant to, etc. Doh I feel like a zombie without caffeine and it sucks to be out of cream. nod

Sometimes I have that problem when I'm at my grandmother's house. She takes her coffee black and strong. She usually keeps a small container in her fridge for my mom and me with those single-serving disposable creamer portions that you get at restaurants instead of buying a large container of cream, because it would ultimately have to go to waste. At times when she runs out, I just scour the kitchen and can usually find a decent substitute. bulb

I'm not sure if you were able to get a coffee fix yet. If you're in a pinch, do you have anything else on hand that you could use? I've used various things in my coffee as a substitute for cream, including:
  • milk
  • whipped cream
  • whipped topping / Cool Whip
  • ice cream (Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream works beautifully BTW!) Licklips
  • frozen yogurt
  • Kraft marshmallow fluff
  • canned sweetened condensed milk

THanks for the tips... the best hotel prices I found are around the airport... but maybe I should reconsider and stay outside the city?

One thing I realized with this relationship... is this is how a relationship SHOULD be... experiencing life TOGETHER... getting out there and actually LIVING....We have been to 4 movies the past month.. I dont think the ex and I saw 4 movies our entire marriage.. not because we didnt have the money or a babysitter but because he didnt want to do ANYTHING. I have been to many concerts, an NFL game... movies, gone bowling, played pool... tons of DIFFERENT things... road trips.. etc. Life is meant to be lived.. not just sitting home doing nothing EVERY freaking day. We make compromises on what we want to do or where we want to eat... it was always about my ex... where he wanted to eat, what he wanted to do... like my feelings never mattered. The past few months have really been a revelation about this. Like I was along for the ride.. not ON the ride itself. Sorry to ramble but a lot more stuff has become clear to me as I have a great guy by my side.
Just wondering why you got married in the first place? I am always confused by people who get divorces, I guess I come for the total other side of the marriage spectrum. I never wanted to get married - would have been fine for me to be single with a life partner and kids but DH changed all that. I especially dont understand marriages the end in divorce after like 25+ years together.

Is there more to it? dont I need a mom account or many - is it one deal per account or place one order at a time in the same acct. Plus, is there a time limit? ending?

Yes you need amazon mom. I have used many of my "family members" accts for this deal, but you could do just 1. Only 1 pampers $2 q per acct though, so you want to borrow family members accts. The expired codes have been working for a while, so I have no clue on a time limit or ending. I guess it could end at any time (the stacking of codes, the use of expireds), but who knows if it will.

Being honest... I was 20 years old.... we both wanted to be married.. just not necessarily to each other... we just were like okay.. lets get married... then 2 weeks later found out I was pregnant... it was NOT something we really thought out. Then we had kids and I stayed partly for them so they didnt come from a broken home (I did) and because I was scared to death to do it on my own. If I ever get married again (the wonderful BF I have doesnt want to get married but is willing to be a life partner)... it is DEFINITELY something that I would spend a lot of time thinking about... Lets just say I have been with the BF longer than I was with DH before we got married!

I almost have an easier time understanding the ones that end after 25+ years. I mean, I am not justifying any of them in anyway and every situation is so different...but I can see how a LOT of things could possibly change in 25+ yrs. that could lead to divorce, KWIM? Not to mention some folks have a very hard time leaving a bad situation that has been bad for a long time for one reason or another.

My parents were divorced after 25+ yrs. It wasn't until my brother and I ran away from home one day and told my mom we were NOT going back to that that she finally decided to leave and take us with her. Suffice it to say it was a bad situation. But it's not like it became that overnight. And I suppose that when you gradually get used to something day after day after day it becomes your new 'normal' and you don't realize what it's become.

I am so tired. DH was nice enough to take tanner to school, take the other two kids to target, drop one off at prek, then go to a few other target stores. My sister kept the evil one upstairs in her room for about six hours while I cleaned house. I wish I could say that it looks amazing but it doesn't. There is still soooooo much I need to do. I'm exhausted and my back and head hurt.

Not to mention that my kids have been home for 1 hour and it looks like I never cleaned at all.
