We had flooding because of a storm. I was scared to death. I was shaking. We had water in the basement, the rivers came over their banks. We were on emergency stand by for evacuation.

Water. Bad. Ugh. Were evacuated by the National Guard from our house in ND spring of 1997. Not fun with a 2 and 5 year old. Were gone for almost 2 weeks, not knowing if our house was under water or not. Came back to a full basement. Pumps, garbage, 2 year old with a severe allergy to mold. Glad I moved to a 'semi-arid' climate!

One day I got a call..it was a wrong number. The guy apologized and I said, wait a minute, don't hang up. I hate when I make a wrong call and I've bothered someone. So tell me your name and this will no longer be a wrong number. We chatted about 20 minutes, he owned a restaurant, invited us down to come have dinner. So we did! Had a nice dinner (he comped us), we left a nice tip and that was the end of that. Never talked to him again, but he did say that this was the strangest wrong number call he ever made, but he would never forget it. The end.

Depends on what you're looking for. There is a Staples Coupon Thread. If you're looking for a compilation of deals like the T thread, you're out of luck. The deals are spread amongst a zillion different threads in HD.

Never understood why they don't make an official thread. I have a gazillion deal alerts that come up because there's so many different threads. Frown It's annoying and I end up missing things because it annoys me and I just don't check it out as closely as I should.

Anyway. I have nothing to report. I have stuff I need to return (never good when you buy new clothes and your kids give you that "look" - I hate shopping.) and I never did get to T or Kroger today. *sigh* Next week, right? I'm just missing a gazillion gc deals that probably are cleared out anyways - right? Tell me I'm right... cuz this week was lame for me.

Okay. I guess I"m still grumpy. What will fix that? I am thinking brownies, ice cream, something naughty that I should not eat because I am already mad at my clothes...

They are good (here in CR), but I don't know that they are that good. Cashiers are too nosy laugh out loud I have no clue about Des Moines. May try next time we are there (which will be April when we go for Easter with my brother and his wife.) I honestly think that half the problem is that they don't take us young'ns seriously. I am 26 but am so short I can easily pass for being a lot younger....they just don't think I know what the heck I'm doing with coupons....or think this is some sort of reason to scrutinize Confused

Yes you are right! You are always right! Have sex, the passionate sloppy kind, always works for me, then..have brownies and kim (ice cream..my nephew use to call ice-cream kim when he was little).
