Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

But, UPDATE ON NETBOOK PROBLEM. To go back, 2 weeks ago I called Samsung. After hearing nothing, I called again last week as they promised to call me back and did not. Samsung said they had no solution yet. I then called Marlboro, spoke with Bernadette. She called me back late this afternoon, and said a new SD card would be mailed to me in a few days. I asked her if this would solve the problem and she said she was only told to call me to tell me about the new card being mailed and knows nothing else. I told her I had called not only for myself, but for the entire group who received the netbooks as everyone has this same problem. I told her thanks a few times, but that I felt badly as I was trying to help everyone who was having this problem, not only me. She said she is only responding to my problem. Has anyone else heard from Marlboro or Samsung? When I get this new card, I will try it again and post my results.

Got a $25 check in today's mail from the Netspend contest. The problem is (if you can call it a problem) that I never got a winning message. You can win up to 5 times, so I'm going to keep playing it, they can send me checks by mistake all they want ;-)

I know you feel bad that Marlboro would only address your problem, and not everyone else's, but YOU definitely deserve to get a new SD card (that hopefully works!) for all the calls you have made to Samsung & Marlboro, and posting whatever info you got here.Hug2

I do not no why it's in different drives, may be we partitioned differently,
Did you try to right click on the F: drive, select format, then turn off the Quick Format option
to see if it would format ?
I am thinking my SD card may be different than the earlier cards.
