9.0 Earthquake near Honshu Japan; Major Tsunami hits Japan (((related news stories in post 515)))

They are expecting a Tsunami of up to 10 feet high. Buildings were shaken in Tokyo, no word yet on damage. It was only 15 miles deep and 81 miles east of Honshu.

Globalgiving.com, another aid organization that allows donors to select the causes they want to support – including climate change, economic development, human rights and natural disaster relief – has established a Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. Any idea if there have been casualties on US bases in Japan? Yokohama is a big Navy base South of Tokyo ...

I believe the Pentagon stated that there were no casualties at all. They also stated that everyone was accounted for.

reactor 2 just had an explosion
they are not sure if its the containment vessel that cracked or not, but its looking like the container vessel is cracked.
