That's crazy, though. I get annoyed with automated phone menus where you have to say what you want. They can never understand me unless I talk in my robot voice.

Of course, you might just make yourself a more interesting target, since all that activity will be in one way or another associated with what's obviously an IP in the range distributed by your ISP to home users. Sure, it will make you more difficult to port scan, but last I heard, the zombie net is still around, so they could just redirect more resources once they think you have something worth hiding.
