Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

Not sure if anyone is familiar with the USGS earthquake site...I have it saved because in California we get little tremblors almost daily and I like to see where they're centered....

This link will take you directly to the Japan quakes and you can see how many large quakes have hit since last night...

I was watching live coverage on it and there was updates saying that the US was sending over another aircraft carrier to help so I'm assuming they would be aiding with relief efforts.

I have seen that they have had like 12 aftershocks in the 5.5 range since the tsunami hit.
Frown Is sad. I can say I'll take my snow and freezing temps anyday. Smilie

That side of Japan had an earthquake of it's own this morning (not necessarily an aftershock). I'm sure he will be involved in recovery and aid by his presence there. Could be an ongoing thing.

Waiting for local news to find out the status of the coastline here in Washington state...
