Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

I just did the survey but it did not say if I am getting a hat or not. With my locktite hat, marlboro buckle and earbuds hanging out of my ears, I shall look simply stylin this summer. Oh and the neckerchief around my neck. I may put the buckle on the neckerchief if it is not too large, or hang it on a turquoise handbag.

Do you completely shut down your computers at night when you're done for the day? If you just minimize (not close) your browser, and put your computer into Sleep or Hibernate mode (instead of completely shutting down) then when you "wake" your computer, and maximize your browser, you will be on the same page you left off on....no need to leave a comment before you leave for the night, or search for the page again.

So I had a UPS notice on my door when I got home last night -- something from Amazon. I haven't ordered anything from Amazon for a while so couldn't figure out what they heck was being sent. I told them to leave it in front of the door today, so when I got home, I found my winnings from the Extra Gum Smackdown. A really cute portable AM/FM radio with an alarm clock and it even came with ear buds. I'm impressed. I bought it with my first $10 GC. I have another one but there's nothing but cookbooks this time around for $10. I'm hoping to win another $10 and add them together.

Good Afternoon All,

Just came home and at the door was my Marlboro 30 can cooler from Coleman. Nice bag with the two aluminum water bottles. Now if I can get my boots and bike I'll really be a happy boy. I quess nobody on SD won the motorcycle. Also won another bag of Halls today and I think my computer has picked up some kind of a virus. Now I have to try to lockdown that. It will not let me check for Mcafee updates and every once in awhile it comes up with a critical error and then reboots. I think I opend up some kind of spam emaol or something. The email looked like it was from Fedex. So watch out for funny looking emails. Live and learn I guess.

I shut it off during the day and at nite before I go to sleep. We get spikes and little failures at times here. You probably know this - I had it with Outwit and had it last week again and I really panicked. When the thread closes, I cannot find the new thread again. Takes me forever to find the new one.

I dont ever shut down just restart from time to time. Got to go shopping..... low on Toaster Strudel!!!! EEK!EEK!

Great idea but I seldom have anything to write at the end, or if I do, I then go to a different forum, read that one, then revisit the other site..... Doh
I use Chrome when I'm on Slickdeals. I have the sites I visit everyday on the Bookmark Toolbar. When I've finished reading OWTW FF for instance, I click the star, select add to toolbar, then delete the old bookmark. That way I always start on the last page I read.
However, right now I'm at work and I can't use that tactic, so I'm doing it the cwhetme wayWink

Good ideas! I was wondering if I could solder a loop on the back of it & turn it into a tee shirt holder tie clip thingie.

If I do one more round of votes for SD peeps on El Monterey, I could really make the "Lets Eat" tee look cute.

I go to bookmarks, organized bookmarks, and there are choices - yesterday, last 7 days, etc. and I search and search because I will bookmark a site and will recognize it and I bookmark when I sign off. As I stated earlier, I only have trouble finding the new thread when the previous one changes to a new one.

They used to have these plastic clips that the side of the t-shirts slid into, bringing it up one one side. This works for me as I am short and the shirts are long. Is that what you mean? It has to have some kind of an opening inside (maybe a rod across) and then the bandana will slide right through and then tie it on the bottom inside hook if that is how it is made. I hope.

No stylin for me .....For this summer all I want is Jemerdith, with nothing on but a smile, to share my new pair of Fundies that I ordered last night....... she says she's not blonde but as you can see she's blonde....
