Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Anyone here knows what is up with the American Family site. All this week I have been going and get this - This page could not be found or the information has expired. But the page is there. Just can not log in.

yes my gran went to england at 80 yrs old hads been writing her childhood boyfriend for 63 years and wrote to tell him we were coming "across the pond " that may(1970) Got to his home ,knocked on the door ,lady came to the door, told her who we were looking for , OH! dear noone wrote to you? Jim died in march and his wife is in a care facility.Thought my gran was gonna die on me(I was 14) she cried and cried, well the woman did tell us Jim's sister still lived in Boulton so the next day we hopped a train went to the row she had told us ,didnt know the # and we knocked on this door. The lady showed us maggie's door and when we knocked this little old woman answered .Alice Lucas I'd know you anywhere, Maggie Jolly you look the same.63 years since they'd seen each other in person,we had a lovely afternoon, the highlight of my grans trip. so yep we went cross the pond to see a man who died 3months earlier and no one thought to write us.
