Good to see you all again - haven't been on in a while with time to chat. Not winning much, except the belt buckle. Been trying the emerald game and the skinny cow give-away for awhile with no luck, red baron, too. Probably should try later at night and maybe they aren't as stingy with the prizes then. Anyone gotten their boots from last summer's Marlboro game? Bikes from OWTW?

I helped cm51 get her buckle, but I really didn;t see the point of DesertDoll7 to be so disrespectful to this lady. She was new and unaware of the funny farm. This really got under my skin today!!! Why can't people be respectful of others, no need for smirky remarks!!! The lady I helped was a very sweet and delightful person, she didn't deserve her remarks!! Mad Sorry I just had to vent, stuff over there usually doesn't bother me, I just move right on but NOT TODAY!!!

wave Hello all you Funny Farmers! I got on the Snus challenge forum and was shocked and disgusted with the rudeness found there, for goodness sakes how much can you say about the Snus challenge anyway???? I LOVE the Funny Farm where nothing is off topic and everyone is so friendly and helpful! I haven't been on much due to computer issues but now am using my marlboro netbook, yay!!!
Two questions: With my netbook I can't complete round 6 in the roping game, the flashplayer freezes up on me in round 2, every time. I have re-installed and updated to current but still is happening, anyone else have this problem?
And now that I'm back online again, what IWG are people winning on?

Well, this was a short (ha ha) visit, but gotta run - chance to tutor a kid and make some extra moneySmilie Have a good day. Will check back soon now that my shoulder has healed up (rotator cuff surgery in December). Take care.

I had the same thing happen to me on the game, click the restart round button and when it pops up and asks if your sure you want to restart click NO, and it should move right along. I think it's something with the game, try it and see if it will let you finish. You might have to do it everytime it hangs ups.

Sure were. I had a "Mean Mary Jean" Plymouth Duster and we bought a locking cap. Back then, if they siphoned gas they were basically criminals, but in today's climate, seemingly "nice" college kids do these things and think they are fun.

Yeah, I was stalking jdahlen one night (What?!? She'd been going through a lot & disappeared! I was worried so I looked to see if she'd posted lately! Sheesh...) and she asked a question & people were just mean! My 'guard dog' came out https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?p=37435589#post37435589. I was surprised by how many strangers repped me for that, but never said anything. There are way too many old-timers on SD who feel they are 'superior', openly laugh at, and treat others like dirt for entertainment. Apparently, that's acceptable but for the love of God, don't go off topic or the m o d s will go crazy. Those two clowns (now three) who started all of the trouble over there continue to hang around, knowing that they have full protection because they're old-timers.
I'd been checking SD for deals for years but never signed up (until OWTW) because the place seemed to be full of jerks. Soap Box Thanks, I feel better now. BTW, has anyone seen jdahlen around lately? Big Grin

The poster that complained isn't a stranger. Has been around since OWTW4. I was actually surprised by their comment because the new person seemed really nice and was asking for help with the roping.
