March 29, 2011, 3:13 am: System Notice: This thread content has been automatically archived from another thread which reached post limit, and will be preserved for reference and archival purposes. The discussion should continue in the original thread

Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Goldie,..A SugarGlider is a small Australian marsupial---Kinda like a chipmunk-sized Flying Squirrel...
The small face resembles a tiny spider monkey with large front-facing eyes that look almost liquid...
They can become very attached to 1 person and bond quickly----They are very social and need to be in at least pairs...After the male's mate passed away last month I downloaded a CD of other gliders calling to help his depression and loss of appetite.

His new mate will be here April 4th--He insisted on a younger blond female so I had to order her. He must be having a mid-life crisisRoll Eyes (Sarcastic) Typical male....

Having a pet of their own seems to help the kids learn to cope, learn responsibility, and know they are a huge part of our whole family--The bonding and caring for their pets seems to help them from dwelling on the bad things in their past...And I have never found anything more satisfying or worthwhile...nod

I received my Target "cosmetic bag" with samples today. Included was a booklet of various product coupons, good only at Target - expire end of July this year. A majority of them I won't be using. If anyone out there has rec'd their Target bag and knows which coupons I'm talking about, and would like more, please feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to mail 'em off. That applies also to those who didn't go for the Target bag - I could either provide the list of coupons directly here on FF (advice on this option please) or send a private PM. I'd like to follow with lead of others here on FF and share the goodness.....

The way you said 'and knows what coupons I'm talking about' had me running to the cosmetic bag and grabbing the book to look for 'those coupons'. Wasn't until I went through the entire book that I realized what I read and what you said were two entirely different things. (Note to self- Get your mind out of the gutter!)
Anyway, my daughter and her friend and I have the coupon books that we also probably won't use, so PM me if you're interested.

freddie I'll leave you w/ this one.....

A salesman in a strange city was feeling horny and wanted release. He
inquired for the address of a good house of ill repute. He was told to
go to 225 West 42nd St.
By mistake, he went to 255 West 42nd St, the office of a podiatrist. Being
met by a beautiful woman in a white uniform surprised but intrigued him.
She directed him to an examining room and told him to uncover and someone
would be with him soon.
He loved the thought of the table and the reclining chair and was really
getting aroused because of the strange and different approach this house
offered.
Finally the doctor's assistant, a really gorgeous redhead entered and
found him sitting in the chair with his generous member in his hand.
"My goodness", she exclaimed, "I was expecting to see a foot."
"Well," he said, "if you're going to complain about an inch then I'll take
my business elsewhere."

This will soon be our 12th retired thread since it started...seem's like age's ago.
I was just looking at the first few pages of the very 1st thread started by MellowCat88..lol...almost like an old year book,lol... I wonder if he will ever pop back in.
This Funny Farm did kinda have a slow start in the beginning...and slowly people started to trickle over,I believe me & do and dlboss started posting it often on the OWTW and dlboss even put it in his signature which he still has. After the contest alot of people left and never came back but there is still alot of us that are still here.. and all of the new friend's that joined in after the contest was over.Just amazing what a little thread MellowCat88 started has turned into.
Just thought I would make a little dedication to the original O.P. MellowCat88 and all the people that call this home.
May we all have many more thread's to retire.

I must say, you have the biggest heart & are so sweet to take such good care of those foster kids & all the critters!

After you said something about having a Sugar Glider, then explaining to GoldieRocks what kind of critter they were, just had to go look them up on the internet. They are adorable!!!!
