March 29, 2011, 3:13 am: System Notice: This thread content has been automatically archived from another thread which reached post limit, and will be preserved for reference and archival purposes. The discussion should continue in the original thread

Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Not weird to be fearful about leaving something cooking while you're gone. (it's like on the way to work, "oh darn did I turn the coffee pot off!?) I'm pretty much the same, but am lucky right now that hubby is home during the day. So do you have a lot of recipes for game meat? Up here we can find any of number of cookbooks that include recipes for moose meat. My sis's husband (AlaskaLady) is a supreme cook and does a lot with moose.

Well there aren't alot of moose walking around Richmond, Virginia, but.....
my dad and 13 year old nephew live in Alabama and dad owns land in KY where he grew up. They do alot of deer hunting as well as fishing. I try to get down there multiple times a year and load up my large cooler, oh, and see my family. My grandfather also got put in asst. living last year near my parents at 95 so I go see him as much as I can since he made our childhood vacations incredible and love him to death. I normally just grill the loins but found on that site a bunch of pulled and crock recipes for deer and have tried a bunch of them. I had moose once though--in Alaska as a matter of fact.

I have a 21 year old double major and lives year round at school because he does alot of volunteer work. Very focused on school and money. I told him he better do well because I plan on making his life H---LL like he has made mine his teen years when I am older and expect to live as nice in my old age as he did in his years with me. Shuts him up. The other is a senior in high school and will go to community college as well as a gamer so he doesnt' come out of his room much. Will be interesting but when he finishes his second year of school, that's it for me....selling this big house and getting a much smaller one story for me and my two dogs with ONE guest room.

Don't even bother with the guest room. If the kids comeover make them sleep on the couch. That way ya don't have to make the bed up again after them when they leavenod

I might want to try chipmunk soon though if they don't stay out of my garden this year!! I almost can see them running across my back yard with a cucumber in their mouth waving! Little buggers

Hi all, talking about snow, I'm sitting here now watching it come down. Been off and on all day, but is finally starting to stick. Haven't listened to the weather to see how much we are suppose to get. I'm soooooo sick of snow this year.

Better yet, just get a 2 man tent and make them put it up, take it down and put it away when they come to see ya. And don't forget, ya don't cook anymore, so they better bring Fastfood. And also if they want to put up that tent in your yard, they might wanna help and pick up the dog poop before they set it up. All those rules will keep them away>>woot
