Just a word of advice, check any driveway drains near your garage. If you are getting a massive amount of rain, a clog may back it up and flood your garage.

(this happened to my neighbor). If it is draining properly, you are in good shape.

Gah. It looks like these storms are going to get here right when it's time to pick up the kids. Why does it always seem to time it that way? laugh out loud They let out some of the schools early but those were more west.

Ok this is so stupid.

I'm watching the news about the storms and when they're approaching, who's getting hit right now and all that. So then the stupid Emergency Alert system cuts in with a big grey screen...does that huge BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZ noise...and then a computerized voiced starts telling me who's got warnings and when the storms will get there etc. And it keeps interrupting the news about the weather. Just scroll it on the bottom or something. Geeze.

Too late. laugh out loud We have a carport. It came in so fast it was running into my living room door. We caught it this time though, and since my husband was here to see it, he was able to go out and reroute the water. When the previous owners did landscaping, they didn't leave anywhere for the water to go. He's going to recaulk the door tomorrow (because it actually was running under the door frame....our living room is an addition). He originally thought it was because the gutters were clogged, but they aren't now, so hopefully he's rerouted it enough until we can do some work on it.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like another honey do project for your husband. My wife just added 2 more to my growing list this weekend. Grrrrrrrrr!

She drives me nuts! I met her once in one of my Broadcasting classes and she was very nice and I got to talk to her for a couple minutes. And Patrick said she was in a couple of his classes in college. So I tried really hard to like her...and I don't dislike her...she just bugs me how she pronounces temperature, lol.
