We plan to sit around the living room watching chick flicks, drinking wine, and the idea is to have "finger foods" instead of a formal eat-at-the-table dinner with fork and knife.
The Hostess is making homemade pizzas - a vegetarian and a Hawaiian. She's also making homemade black bean hummus (which I'm assuming she'll serve with pita chips).
One girl is bringing bitesize brownie. Another girl is bringing an appetizer, but didn't specify exactly what it is.
I've got this idea to do Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps. I'm just not sure if it will mesh well with pizza.

Tzatziki sauce is great, especially with really thick Greek yogurt.

And I made my Tzatziki earlier this week with Greek yogurt, but it didn't have the slight sweetness that I'm used to, so I think I'll make it with normal yogurt next time around.
So nix the lettuce wraps and stick to a veggie tray?
Tonight we're having chicken breasts dipped in butter, breaded w/ Italian bread crumbs, parmesan and cheddar cheese and baked. Mmmm.... With whatever veggies I have in a steamer bags in the freezer.

You can make a peanut dipping sauce with peanut butter, honey, and rice wine vinegar. A pinch of white pepper and/or cayenne pepper or a splash of Tobasco sauce in it works well, too. Start with about a 1/2 cup of peanut butter, add a tablespoon (or two) of honey, and three or four tablespoons of rice wine vinegar.
Now I get to scour the internet for a few recipes that I can combine into something delicious.
