Wave Question for ya... I am dealing with mail for my grandparents. I do not need or want a subscription to Time Magazine, Texas Highways, South Dakota Magazine, Country or Farm & Ranch Living. What should I do with these subscriptions? They don't want them either.

And Facepalm I just settled a debt from 2009. I have a feeling this is going to be a long process...

Can you somehow forward or donate them to local libraries? If you can't and they keep coming how about donating them to school for art projects or just straight to the recycling bin?

Cancel them? May be able to get a partial refund for the undelivered portion.

We will. It's supposed to hit here at 2:55. Right when one of us will be driving to pick up Elizabeth from her school about 12 minutes away. She typically comes out to the car around 3:05. If it would just wait a half an hour, lol.

WTF? How do you not want Texas Highways? That's like the best magazine EVER!!!!

Ok seriously...I'd probably put them in a little pile and each time I went to the Dr. I'd take the pile of magazines in and leave them for people to read. A lot of the Drs I go to have crappyass magazines so that's probably what a lot of people do, lol.

That pile is from today. It's 9 deep. EEK! I'll ask at the library the next time I'm there. Not sure what they'd want with South Dakota magazine, though...

I bet schools would like them for maybe projects where they have to cut up stuff. I'd say calling to cancel would be a hassle but if they've got awhile left on each subscription it might be worth it not to get South Dakota Magazine every month for another 3 years or something, lol.

They pretty much all expire by the end of this year. I'll ask the art teacher, too. She may want some of them.

A lot of them should have online options for canceling the remainder of the subscription, or a customer service email address.
(I used to work with a lot of magazine companies and fulfillment houses, built their online subscription front-ends and self-service customer sites, etc blah blah)

Ah, in that case it might not be worth the effort (unless they're fairly expensive subscriptions).
Especially not if they're free laugh out loud

Are you watching channel 5? They just showed the camera at Children's Hospital overlooking downtown Nashville and you couldn't see ANYTHING. Sky is BLACK.

Yes! It was so creepy looking! It looked like a weird horror movie...all dark and smokey/foggy looking. I wish the kids were home so we could all just sit back and enjoy the storm instead of me having to go get Christian and Patrick going to get Elizabeth.

Elizabeth texted and said she's scared cause they're under a tornado thing and there are sirens going off at school...which I don't understand cause the storm hasn't even gotten to our town yet so I don't know why sirens are going off over there.

Oh well crap...just said tornado reported right in my parents area of town. I know if I call they won't answer the phone cause they're not too good at that, lol.

I'm sure they would know how to recycle them after using them in the employees "reading room"
