Well I'm lucky I guess...when I go see the vampires, they do a good job...but those are for draws...so a bit easier then getting a drip started.

My boss at work years ago was in a motorcycle accident, car pulled out in front of him so they had to get him to the hospital stat...they started the IV's (one in both arms) on the way to the hospital in a moving, rocking, racing meat wagon! And they got both on the 1st try!worship
Well, this was a training environment. I was getting re-certified to be a combat lifesaver (advanced first aid, like needle chest decompressions, starting IVs, nasal airways, etc)... Obviously my partner hadn't done this much before.

OIC...ok...different set of bench marks then...don't have to be pretty, but just get 'er done...

I had to get two upper teeth pulled so that mine could come in...also was part of fixing my overbite....gawd did I hate braces..and the farking head-gear Frown
