All is well in the world of Joe. I was able to update WiiFlow and play Just Dance 2. So out 9 bucks isn't completely wasted. Whoo!

Sometimes being cheap and stealing software is just not worth the effort.

Here's my Tv. I've been really happy with it, save for it leaving 6 degrees counter clockwise. Otherwise I am very pleased with it. If you can find that for around $1700, jump on it. Cost is right around 1630.

There have been deals on it recently, https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=87998&t=2724537 as a for instance, and I imagine there will be a few on the way. It doesn't come with glasses, but you can get a few pair relatively cheaply.

For 2 kids sized glasses, i paid $50 each, plus a buy one get one free deal from Sony directly, so 160 total.

So for 260 I got four pairs of glasses, which some people will scoff at, but it is nice to be cutting edge.

This too is a good value. Samsung makes excellent Tv's. I'd say they are top of the line still, but this isn't a top of the line tv. It's LCD, not LED, and it isn't a 3D tv. 60 Hz is more than sufficient for most, and 120 up to 600 is really just overkill.

Hey all! Wave I just got home from another lovely afternoon/evening out with my hubby! heart We went to BCF (someone else has been to it apparently too laugh out loud Oh well), T, the movies (Red Riding Hood), to an art showing, and then picked up dinner and brought it home for everyone. It has been really nice of Alexa to watch her sister (Uncle Shawn is upstairs, but she is the one doing the work of Sophia) for us to be able to have some alone time. J and I need to come up with something special for her, to let her know how much we appreciate what she does for our family.
Super cool thing about this weekend, is that today J did the run at T and he did one there yesterday by himself! woot 2 runs from him in one weekend! Whee I am sure a lucky girl!!! heart I am happy also bc we are almost done with the huggies Q's! I have enough for 3 more runs, so I could get them all done this week! Yahoo! That makes me really excited! laugh out loud

I got Just Dance from Blockbuster. I told the guy that I was glad their store isn't closing, but at these prices...

LD 2 is my way of not remembering the title of the game, Just Dance 2. Occasionally I will call it Dance Dance...

WiiFlow is a way to play game off of a hard drive. I talked about it a few months back after my brother left back to Texas.

Basically what you do (and it is a pain in the ass), is you take a blind leap of faith into the hands of computer/internet savvy people and hope they don't let you fall on your ass.

It wasn't that hard to do, but understanding what you are doing is nearly impossible. Basically if you can follow directions, you can soft mod the wii so you can play backup games, home brew games, and for the most part, illegally downloaded/copied games from your hard drive.

It is awesome, unless you have a 7 year old who invites friends over, shows them the capabilities of a soft-modded wii, and then that friend tells their parents that they want to be able to play their games that way too, and consequently you wind up with an awkward conversation about how you are morally loose.

So there you go. If you have questions, I may be able to help, but keep in mind that i was trying to install so much and I was doing a piss pot poor job of it until I lucked into an easy to find how to guide.

Here's the best guide I found and it breaks it down by firmware. I will warn you that I am VERY tech savvy and figuring this out kicked my ass. There isn't too much of a chance of breaking the wii, but there is a chance you will drive yourself nuckin futs trying to figure it out.

Your 20 miles from an HHgregg. Chances are if they have it in stock, they would beat the Best buy deal, but probably by 20 bucks. So you'd spend that much in gas if BB is close to your home.
