Yesterday was a pleasant day. We, on the spur of the moment, decided to head to the zoo. So we had a little breakfast and were DC bound. Outside an issue of Kate freaking out about parking, it was an uneventful drive up.we saw pandas, elephants, zebras, lions, and Tigers. The pandas weren't doing much, but there were 7 lion cubs and they were playing and having just the time of there life. It was delightful to watch.

I also saw a few birds fighting over a piece of popcorn. And the popcorn was not even that delightful. There may have been blood shed if it was movie theatre quality.

I'll post some naked photos of the animals later.

My first camera 1.3 megapixel Olympus was giving to my mother in law. the 3.1 Fuji was given to Dallas and is now lost. The 7.1 mp Sony is retired, but is proudly kept with the 2nd tier electronics (42in lcd tv, progressive scan dvd player, xbox, and I'm sure something else. And my present 10mp Canon is safely upstairs. Though in 6 months it will have a new home as I will have sold it in order to upgrade. That will be a bittersweet day.

Both of the grandparents are asking me about when they should schedule their trips for the babies birth. What are you other preggos doing? I think Ariel is in the same situation as I am with a planned c-section but not expecting that the baby will wait because my DD was 3 weeks early. My DH insisted that everyone stay in a hotel last time and I think he will want the same this time but my mom doesn't have much $ for that. My mom is worried about me with a c-section and taking care of DD as well as the new baby. I have no control over when the baby will come but I know everyone wants to make travel plans. I just don't want the baby to come on my DD bday or on the day we have her party which is well within the 3 week window.

Terra's milk is not coming in, she has a little bit, but not very much....been supplementing with formula,which the puppies hate...got a recipe from a breeder friend of mine and they like that a little better....3 of the puppies I can get to bottle feed, the other 2, the smallest 2, are still resiting it... Frown Going to the vet today to get dew claws removed and drugs for Momma to make some milk, hope it works!! heart

Momma Junie is coming for a month, so we had already picked out the dates she would be coming, knowing that she should be here when the baby comes. She also has flexibility at her work, so that if Lily came sooner than the 16th (Pray she doesn't laugh out loud) then she could leave sooner. As it is scheduled right now, she will be here 9 days before the C section, and about 3 weeks after. Its nice bc I want her to be able to spend time with my other girls before Lily comes. Also she will be here to help me with anything I need.

How long are the grandparents planning on staying? Hotels can get pricey! I know that I won't feel like I am having to entertain Junie, but if it were someone else, I may feel that way and then a hotel would be nice. With Momma Junie, I just do my thing and she does hers. I mean we do a lot together, but if I am tired, or cranky or whatever I can just go have some me time and she understands.

Grrr- DS called and started my Monday off on a sour note. On the way to the gym, he stopped at the cemetary to visit Hubby's grave. He called to inform me that the Bronze Vase was missing.I was furious and a little heart -sick. We paid $300 for that vase. People will steal them and melt them down to sell to scrap yards. This is one of the largest cemetarys and is locked at Dusk. I have never heard of any bronze thefts at that particular cemetary. I told him to report it to the office. DS snapped a photo of the empty hole and went to the office. They looked at the photo, took his name and phone number and said they will take care of it. I am somehat relieved but you can bet we will keep checking. People disgust me sometimes!

I am so sorry hug I am glad the cemetary is going to take care of it.

Well so far it is my MIL, FIL, 13yr old niece, my mom and sister which is too many people in the house even with our bigger house. My DH just likes for us the bond quietly in the beginning. They don't usually have to stay in a hotel in fact my mom is coming on Sat for two weeks. The thing with my mom is she wants to help but usually just creates more chaos. I am really hoping that she can focus this visit on helping clean and pack because i am moving slow and we don't have much time after she leaves before we move.

Here are some of the photos... nothing too exciting. I'm watching Sex and the City 2... it's not good. It's a shame that characters were once so liked are just caricatures.

It is found. Philip and Sam went to the reception place and it was there. I had a feeling it would be. Whew! I knew the last 2 things I had to take out with me were my camera and the sherbet. Both were still in the kitchen. I had set them down since I saw some crumbs to clean up. Silly me but I definately wanted my $200 deposit back.
