People really shouldn't click on this thread until they're current on episodes. I'm trying hard to hold off on spoilers despite it already having aired. Sounds like you already read the books, though.

I was doing a random search for some GoT character a month ago and happened to read the HUGE event from the books that happened last night. I knew it was coming, but I was still... "oh snap."

I liked how the credits were all silent. It made what just happened even more of a EEK! moment

nod Yep, I've already read the books. Read an article about last night's episode this morning, and reading these forums [westeros.org] about it today, too.

I hadn't read the last book until just a few months ago. I went reading through the ASOIAF wiki to get "in the mood" to read again, and accidently read some spoilers. Though one of them wasn't a spoiler at all - I guess the good thing is there are so many theories and ideas out there, that some of the things I've read don't happen - it's just how someone interpreted it.

Wow what an episode. I came away thinking that GoT really has a way of shocking episodes and no character is safe from Martin. Also, this show has got to teach my other shows how to make a season ending episodes. 1st season ending was really good and last years was fun but this is just nuts. This show does know how to drop my jaw. When that black ghost-like thing came from Melissandra I was lke :WTF: EEK!OMG but last night, I was double that. Oh shiet OMG No this can't be happening :WhatTH: WhyTF: :WhoTF:

I do not like wedding in this show and don't want to see any more ever. Not even a Dothraki one.

Can't wait for the season finale. Might have to go buy the books now.

Just wait until next week. If this season plays out like the novels, another major character (hated) is going to die.

Roll Well, there were other weddings this season, and they weren't so bad, right? Though, Robb's was last season, wasn't it? I don't remember... His was so irritating, I didn't care enough to remember.

It'll probably change next week, but, right now, I'm not even looking forward to next week's episode much because I'm running out of characters to care about because they keep dying.

And then when I think about it, why am I rooting for the Starks in the first place? They tend to either be foolish dummies, or they like to be selfish and let prisoners go, or they are liars and break their promises. Guess I'll just keep rooting for Jerk Joffrey to get his comeuppance.

And when did the Professor X kid get a little brother? Guess I need to pay attention more.

laugh out loud Rickon has been there since the beginning. He's just so... boring... I don't even know if anything has really happened with him in the books! Honestly, it sounds like he has more going on in the show than even in the books.



I never rooted for Robb, but I definitely liked Catelyn Down

As many others have said, what an episode, painted up far better than I could have dreamed of when reading it. Well Robb, I hope that vag was worth it (yeah I went there). I find the Hound/Arya dynamic rather cute. Thankfully this time, no more "poor Theon" because I was getting sick of him being a punching bag. Can't wait for the season finale and should be caught up with the rest of the books come next season yayyy.
