Thanks for that. I have several package mixes for banana nut muffins that I keep forgetting about. (Clearance cart, free after coupon). A dozen muffins are baking as we speak. Soup is done and in the crock pot staying warm. Hmm, what next.

I do still need to vacuum but DD worked 11 - 7 last night and is sleeping, I don't have to not do it, but I figure it won't kill me to wait til she is up.

I'm taking about 1.4 cubic tons of last year's Easter clearance in today for the kids' parties. Good Gravy. I gotta cut back for this year Doh
I mix 1/2 sweet tea vodka, 1/2 lemon aide crystal light and a splash of sprite zero. Goes down smooth. Really smooth.

Thanks dear. As for excitement, both kids are sick. Cole was up all night coughing. He seems to be a little better this morning but we're just hanging out in our pjs today. DH is working from home because the appraiser was scheduled to come for the house. Canceled plans to go to dinner tonight because of the sick kiddos. Oh well, maybe I'll run to target tonight after the kids go down and pick out a little something for myself. Best gift so far today was a CD that DH helped Cole make me. He's singing and playing guitar "happy birthday" and "twinkle twinkle". It's awesome!

afternoon Wave!

saw a free black-eyed peas concert last nite to promote the 21st century beetle. concert will be broadcast on mtv late friday nite so you cannot watch it in this country on mtv.com right now. personally i think that was poor planning. it was aired on mtv.com live last nite as part of a simultaneous global event w/ a party in berlin and the unveiling of the car at the Motor Show in shanghai. so now you have to wait another 5 days to watch the tv broadcast? if i were volkswagen, i would not be happy.

got to see them up close and in person. they were maybe 30-40ft away. dh had won tickets from a local radio station. would you believe ticket holders got in last after the huge free audience filler line? we would have gotten closer if we'd just signed up for free tickets instead of winning them!!!

oh look! they probably finished editing some of it (probably for profanity). i just saw the video *just can't get enough*-
http://worldstage.mtvbase.com/bla...d-the-time

i think the funniest thing was will.i.am taking pictures and tweeting throughout the concert. people weren't supposed to take pictures but they know almost everyone has cameraphones. so people were taking pictures/videos of them while he was taking pictures of the audience and tweeting while singing. he was a bit distracted....Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Have your other kids just outgrown it or it doesn't fit right?? I have the hardest time getting their stuff to fit my dd correctly....love it but it just doesn't fit and is way way big and wide, etc. I have a dress from there that I bought when I was preggo w/dd that is size 12-18 mos. and she will finally be able to wear it this spring (she's 3.) I am super-excited to be going to a mall this weekend (and then Chicago-area the next weekend) with some better kid's stores because dd is hard to fit for clothes. Hopefully there are an abundance of clearance racks waiting for me laugh out loud
premium brands like gap and gymboree are usually cut more roomy and big. discount and budget brands are usually cut narrower and shorter. designer brands are usually cut narrower and longer.

one of bff's daughters is on the huskier side. she fits gap jeans well. her sister is very thin and not tall. she's 9yrs old and wears around a size 6-7. target premium jeans and designer jeans from tjmaxx fit her very well.

If anyone sees a deal on Kohl's coupons, can you let me know? None of my capri pants from last year can be worn this year. I zip 'em up, and they fall down. Big Grin
most people have to buy new clothes b/c the old ones are too tight, not b/c they are falling off Teehee. that's the best reason of all!

Is it just me or is the stuff not as cute? The lines now appear to be remakes of old lines. Like they can't think of anything new so they keep re-releasing the same stuff over and over? Confused
they are saving money and being more conservative w/ sticking to the tried and true. unfortunately for them, many people shop gymboree to get stuff that's different from anywhere else like my bff.

Quote from Nikayla :
Sounds good except the butter. Why do so many things have a whole stick of melted butter? I know it makes stuff taste good, I guess that is why but omg seriously! I am trying not to end up weighing 300 pounds like my mom and two sisters. When I made the chicken gravy stuff for the Hawaiin Haystacks it called for a whole stick of butter too. I left it all out and it was still very yummy.

I thought the Shawn White stuff was, maybe not cute, but nice looking boys stuffl especially if they are into skate boarding and snow boarding. My DS is only 2 but I got a few shirts for his closet. DH son who is 16 really liked almost everything. I wish there were new SW coupons now that the jeans and shoes are going on clearance.
omg, that was my first thought too. way too much butter! i'm sure you can get away w/ half the amt.

shawn white doesn't have to be cute if it's free Teehee!

I am looking for a deal on disinfecting wipes (clorox, lysol, etc)..anyone know the cheapest deal on these right now. I only have T, WM, Wags or Kroger afilliate to shop at. Guess I should have really stocked up when the clorox and up/up deals were going on at T.
free at riteaid but the q is still very good w/ a sale-

Depends how hungry you are. laugh out loud Hmmm, I don't know, as a side dish, I'd say it's easily enough for a family of 6. I made it one year for Thanksgiving and divided it in two (one without mushrooms). I put it in two glass bread pans and they were both pretty much full.

ETA: Just checked my pans. They are glass Pyrex 2.75" x 9" @ 1.5 quart.
Thank you!! Hmmm To make for 30 of us, I'll probably quadruple the recipe. I wonder if I have enough butter. LOL

I kind of wish it would die down, but I also can't get over that girls nerve. She's got quite the cojones to do what she did. I would pee my pants if I did a crazy T run (I think you guys call it STFC) and taped it. nod

Does anyone know if Target carries the Weebles Easter 2 pack? I'm thinking of getting it for the baby. We only have the old style Weebles.

Also, did Waggers see the Splenda deal? Splenda with fiber is $2.99 with $3 coupon, buy 3 and get $4 back. (I think it's $4). I'm wondering if it's a national deal and also at Target and maybe Food Lion. I'm making a Food Lion run tonight, I'll check on Splenda and report back.

This would explain things a bit...I can't wait to go to Chicago in a couple weeks....77kids store...that is AE's kids brand. Hoping for some clearance; their prices are just way too expensive but boy does their stuff fit dd well, have a few things from online clearance. I got her some DKNY shorts on a whim on clearance at TJ Maxx a month or so ago and their size 2 fits her well too. Only thing I hate about there is it is so sporadic. I find one thing I like @ a good price and then I can't find any more of it laugh out loud

Nope. Saving those for cookies. Actually, I'm thinking about baking something else. Banana muffins aren't very desserty. I have 3 apples sitting out there not getting eaten. I was thinking about this [about.com]. It calls for 4 apples and makes 6. I figured I'd just divvy it up and make 3 that are a little bigger than normal since there are three of us.laugh out loud I thought about a fresh apple cake or an apple crisp. I don't know.

yes, happy birthday m2c! hope your day is fun and you get to eat some delicious food that you did not cook yourself!

snow?Messed Up i couldn't take it anymore!

also gotta be careful w/ the brands manufactured for discounters. dh likes dockers but the ones from warehouse stores like bj's and costco shrink and end up too short. funny how the same size ones from jcp, kohls and macys are longer. discounters definitely cut corners/material.

at old navy i like to buy size large tops but at the gap i can never buy large and take medium. old navy pants are usually just the perfect length. at the gap and banana i have to find the *6s* length. if they don't have short, then they are always too long.

at banana and calvin klein, the body fits me but the sleeves are too long so i have to roll them up or push them up. short sleeve usually means at the elbow. pants drag a bit on the floor.

good thing for sil she works at calvin klein. she's 6ft and skinny so fits her perfectly and she gets a discount.

I looked at this post this morning from the Kroger thread and the link has where the OYNO is good at. Couponnetwork is blocked here at work Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) so I can't check it for you (but somehow SD isn't, and coupons.com, or smartsource.com or redplum.com isn't)
