i just don't get how a person can be told by store mgmt not to do something and does it anyway on national tv. she must have a real psychological problem like narcissistic personality disorder where she thinks she's better than everyone else and rules do not apply to her.

On top of all the other drama found out DH grandmother is in the hospital with heart failure. And on the way to see the family, had a flat tire and the spare was no good

Another long day.. Had a difficult morning at church, but a good easter service.. After delivering food to the grieving family, we went out to lunch and came home.. first Easter in my entire life that I ate out at a restaurant rather than being with family and having ham, turkey, and the big feast.. But, I am thankful for all my blessings today!
The guy who killed his wife and her daughter did turn himself in today, so that is a definite positive.. the poor kids need to feel safe and be able to get some closure. I think the funeral will be tuesday or wednesday..

Not much to say. Went to church where I spent a large part of the time training my dear little toddler... (normally DH would handle that, but he was busy doing deacony things...)
Came home where DH said he was still not feeling well (he's had ongoing stomach issues and is actually now asking me to make him a doc appt! finally!) and only wanted rice to eat... My ham turned out okay, but I overcooked it. I can't remember the last time I did that. It was edible, just drier than I'd prefer. Also, since everyone was "starving" and I did a bad job of preparing, we had betty crocker potatoes with the ham instead of real ones. I feel like a bad mom, but no one complained.
I put beans on to soak - going to make some bean soup for me & the girls.
I finally have my follow up appt. with my doc tomorrow. It was supposed to be a couple weeks ago, but that was when I was busy with Miss M at the ER. So we'll see what they say. Miss M actually has her follow up Tues or Weds for her leg, and i'm suspecting that she'll be getting the cast off. Yay!
We went back to church tonight for evening service. My toddler was tired but somewhat better behaved - which was nice. We snuggled a lot after getting home. It was sweet and nice.
My rose bush is blooming with amazing vigor - there are at least 10 blooms in various stages. It is a yellow bush and it has an amazing sweet candy-like smell. I am tempted to dig it up when we move, but I would hate to kill it. I spent some time literally "smelling the roses" today.
We've been watching "The Killing" on AMC. I'm still kind of on the fence about it in a lot of ways. I think I'm too nosey though - I can't stand the idea of not knowing who the killer is, so I am not yet willing to just quit watching!
So... that's my day.
