Tell me about it! I ended up just taking the cover off and hosing the whole thing down. The puke came off fairly easily, and since its so hot outside, I left everything out there to dry off. Now to reassemble... Embarrassment

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who sent prayers, positive thoughts.. WHATEVER my way. Things arent ideal but there are some positives that came up today in court...
1) I have been BEGGING for months for this dang divorce just to be done.. 17 months is WAY too freaking long. The ex has been stalling it because he owes me close to $30K the day the divorce is final.... guardian ad litem and the guy from family relations both agreed this needs to get moved foward, the kids need closure! So my lawyer is pushing to get a final date in May... worst case, it will be early June! But at least I have an end in site
2) I have more time with my kids but not an ideal situation... since I get one extra day with them during the summer my lawyer said to just let it go through for now and get it modified at the end of summer... The guardian agreed that I need more time with my kids and that this isnt her version of perfect either.. but she too said it can be modified at any time
3) I found out through the evaluation that they are aware that all 14 DCF complaints that I have had to deal with (and ALL found unsubstantiated with DCF) were all placed by my ex.. I knew this in my gut but had no facts... the guy from family relations put in his report "there have been 14 unwarranted DCF referrals called in by the father to try and paint mother in a negative light"... YEAH!
4) A statement that totally proves my point of what I have been dealing with for 14 years of marriage "father desires to have absolute control over Stephanie X's personal life and the lives of all the children"...and "father seeks sole custody just to have complete control over the children's relationship with the mother".... DANG! I have been complaining for months that this jerk just wants control over me and the kids... a neutral 3rd party saw this...
5) I did not have to make the decision to end the relationship with the boyfriend.. this was my biggest fear and my lawyer said nope... do not have to end things.
6) Ex bought me out of our house so I didnt have to live next door to ex MIL... appraisal was done in June... I only got 1/2 of what I was due.. the other half was due at final divorce.. my lawyer told his lawyer today that she wants a new one done because it has been almost a year, house values have gone up. His lawyer tried fighting it but judge okayed it because he has been living in that house for the past 8 months and has not paid me in full yet. I win Smilie Hopefully my appraiser I used do a current one and I will get more money out of the deal Smilie

So its not an ideal deal for me but it is definitely all positive for me.. So I want to say thank you.. I really do appreciate it.. this has been a very hard few weeks not to mention 17 months but there is a light and I can see it Smilie

Ugh, my dd had what I THOUGHT was an completely fluke minor allergic reaction to something yesterday but NOPE had one again tonight and the hives were much, much worse. I am almost positive it is eggs. She had deviled eggs and potato salad with egg in it yesterday at lunch and hard boiled egg today at dinner. Her and my niece ate lots of hard boiled egg last week as well hence the desensitization (all my guess of course but it is the only common denominator.)

Facepalm Thought we were done with this. She had a ton of hives tonight and Benadryl finally did take them away but for awhile there I didn't even think that was going to work. Calling the allergist tomorrow I suppose.

megnsam - glad to hear everything worked out at least somewhat in your favor!!! woot

oh no!! did you already know about a food allergy or is this something new? my daughter has outgrown her milk allergy but her peanut was so severe at 3 the dr doesn't even want to challenge her again. Good luck!!!

Toots, how old was your DD when she outgrew the milk allergy? JJ still can't tolerate @ 20 mos old. I'm hoping that he'll be good once we get through the cabinet full of shelf stable rice milk. Thankfully, Noah is not showing any signs of this allergy!

Well, I'll be danged. I do believe I have figured it out. I occasionally send an email to a fairly large group of people. The last two times I have had a delivery failure notification but the odd thing is, that email address is not someone I send it to. Did you know you can track a delivery failure through hotmail? Yep, you can. So, what is happening is that someone on my "send to" list is forwarding the email to someone else. And it tells me who is forwarding it.

Not Toots but monkey toddler hasn't outgrown his and he is 3.5 years old. Rice milk ice cream just isn't the same to a toddler/ preschooler but the coconut milk ice cream sandwiches were a hit.

I'm happy with anything that's bigger than bait. laugh out loud Primarily panfish -- bluegill & crappie but I'm always happy to keep a nice walleye or bass. I don't eat fish vomit but hubby loves it and that is his preference. Click on FishTales [fishsunset.com] and look at last years catches.

I really, really, really wanna catch a nice big northern pike just once... and he only has to stay in boat long enough to pose for a picture. Last year I was casting and casting to no avail. I was reeling in and there it was -- a medium size pike following my lure OMG then he swam right on by and just kept going. laugh out loud Then to make it even worse a little later hubby took that pole (I wasn't using it) and thought he'd play with my lure a bit. One cast and he hooked a fat bass.Confused

Found a nice peelie at WM, lots of them on movies in a Blu-ray display in the main aisle by electronics. Converted to Fandango just fine. Wink
