We woke up to over 2 inches of snowyesterday, it snowed off and on all day and was below freezing for the majority of the day. Cold

Vent for today:
I wish I knew more about computers. Apparently DH did not get that good a deal on my lappy. Something is very wrong with it. Frown
It was doing something weird so he had the guy we bought it from "fix" it and now it is all freaking farked up.

The date for today is 1/7/1980 at 1:40 am and it will not let me fix or change it. It tried to update windows and problems got worse. I can not download itunes or download other things. My battery now says I need to replace it consistently. Every single time I change/open windows I get pop ups from IE saying there are errors with security certificate. This lappy is SO slow now UGH! Mad It is 100 times worse than before he 'fixed' it. I have been informed by my neighbor that I do not have "real" copy of windows installed so that is why I am getting so many errors, it is a copy of someone else's probably the guy we got it from. I was already without a computer for 5 days when it was getting 'fixed/farked' before.

I hate that. My older computer got like that. The more I tried to fix it - the worse it got. It would take hours to do simple things. You just want to SCREAM!!! nod
I used to find the What the tech forums HERE [whatthetech.com] very helpful. The first thing I would do was ask in the spyware forum. They ask you to download Hijackthis and post the log in the forum. Then ONE of the helpers will help you. They don't let everyone post in that thread, just you and the person that has taken your case. They are VERY helpful and guide you step by step. If you still have problems after that, they refer you to one of the other forums. In those forums, anyone can answer. I haven't got as much help in those forums.
I don't think they can help if your computer shows it doesn't have a legit copy of windows though. But if it doesn't have a legit copy, you might be able to get your money back from the guy that sold it to you.

Took a 5 day oral srteroid script for this damn rash. It was nearly entirely gone by the end of the script. I've been off it a few days and now it is coming back. Angry This itch is unbearable! The lingering issues from this pregnancy suck!

I am sick of the wind. It's half way decent outside except for these damn 30 - 40 mph winds. Too windy to fish or work outside. Well, technically, I suppose I could work outside since what I need to do is move heavy rocks and boulders - not like they will blow away - but it's miserable.

I could go mushroom hunting since the timber blocks a lot of the wind but it's been so damn cold the reports are saying that not many are being found yet. so, what's the point?

Apparently, I just want to bitch on a public forum.

Morels? I think we are on the tail end of them here... They actually grow in my yard.... I think my husband put them there. They started coming up in my yard the year he died. And I get more and more every year...

Was glad they were coming up when my sister was home from Texas. She even took a bunch back.

I found tons at SJ today but didnt find at SS yesterday..will look again this evening..You have a super long email...And 600 down to 22 Smack

And my home delivered paper didnt have any inserts today except the P&G..
