Gator, I don't know if this will help but letting them run naked in the house, no underwear, no pull-ups is the only thing that worked for me...they would pee and poop in the potty if naked, and the moment I put pull-ups they went in that..So we did the naked thing + letting them pick their underwear...I swear even now if I let them wear a pull-up they will be happy to go in that...

I think we might sod the back yard. Our back yard is more weeds than grass and it just looks terrible. With three dogs, reseeding isn't very efficient. Our back yard is small anyway then to have to block off the only grass area to keep the dogs out is gonna be fun. Fortunately (or not) they don't seem to mind crapping in my rocks.

Ok, I'm headed out to yard. If you don't hear from me. Send help -- a crane to get me up and large quantities of analgesics. Chocolate would also be appreciated.

my brother used the no pants method on my nephew too. he said it was really funny watching him dance when he had to go to the bathroom. took a wk.

I knew it would. hug When I was talking to the mom at school, I told her the story about best friend's kid and I could tell from the look on her face that she was all "halleluiah, praise the lord, my kid isn't the only one that does this."

I love this Aveeno deal because my kids go through sunscreen like it's lemonade in the summer, but I hate that those Qs beep.

I mean geesh, I will have an MBA but that doesn't seem to mean a whole hell of a lot... my pet sitter is a labor attorney...new out of college and she is making... a whooping 45k a year. :thud: Don't worry sweetie!! I understand!! You'll do amazing!!
I have been breeding cats for years... and to be honest with you... I can make more money doing that then pursuing a career... sad isn't it!?! But then I don't have definite hours and can be here with the kids... but it just doesn't feel like enough for me to be happy you know!?!

Found out today that JJ knows how to use the pumps on lotion hand soap bottles. This new skill + his recently acquired skill of stacking stuff to climb = didn't have to add bubbles to his bath. Facepalm

The thing this kid does when I'm trying to nurse Noah! He also tried climbing on my lap twice today when I was nursing only to lose to gravity. Head + wood floor = I don't think he'll ever get it!

I can totally relate! My 18 month old has been clingly lately and does the same thing while I'm nursing baby: tries to climb on my lap, falls off, screams, tries it again. lol
A friend shared something she had been doing with her toddlers (her's are all older now), she called it 'blanket training'. She laid a blanket on the floor near her, and offered 1 or 2 'new' (or long forgotten, or lost, hehe) toys and trained them to stay on the blanket to play.
It does take consistency and patience.
And lots of guiding her back to her blanket.
Repeating "No, get back on your blanket".
It took a while, but my 18mo does pretty well now. She would be so miserable (and certainly not quiet) if I tried to stick her in a pack n play. This way she knows that while her blanket is laid out, she needs to stay on it and be quiet. I now have her and 3yo on their blankets while the older 2 are doing their morning schoolwork.

My SIL said the exact same thing once she was facing paying back her law school loans and hadn't had a job yet. Now she is doing pretty good with bankruptcies and feels better about it. Hang in there, it will be worth it.

No, this week it is buy two sunblocks for $10 each and get a $5 GC. There are MQs and TQs to go with it, it is not free but still a pretty good deal if you have the Qs.

Aveeno was still signed $10 here this AM when I was @ T.....got a couple, paid, left....did not think much about the GC, just assumed it was $10 when she handed it to me since it was signed that way. Then read all the reports here about it being changed. Checked mine and it is $10 phew but would have been not too happy if it wasn't after dragging the kids into T. 3 days in a row for various things laugh out loud

I have been so stinkin' busy the last few weeks I just can't catch up....ever get that 'so much to do you don't know what to do first' feeling? That's where I have been all week. FINALLY dug the kitchen table out from under the pile of junk that had accumulated on top of it today Teehee Paid some bills that needed to be paid. Organized some coupons. Ran some errands. Plus had dd's gymnastics class this AM. She seems to be doing better with it....more attentive and doing what she's asked to do without all of the distraction. I keep asking her if she likes it and she assures me she does so I think we are gonna stick with it.

I was unaware until someone posted in the deals thread that you can get generic Zyrtec (Kirkland brand) 365-ct. on Amazon for $16 woot Now I don't feel so bad for not making more of a point to search it out @ T. the past few weeks Stick Out Tongue

Can't remember who asked but I finally saw some AG cards in T. I saw a rep there a couple days ago and then today I found a random birthday card that was AG, so I am assuming they are mixed in with the other cards instead of its own section. Makes it difficult to find cards for the Qs
