EXTREME COUPONER STOCKPILE SALE
Teehee You crack me up. It's chilly in FL this morning so I'm drinking my fancy-lady coffee, wearing a hoodie, and giggling at gt. Good times heart

on another note, I am weary of shopping lately. too many episodes of extreme couponers and hoarders (they tend to flow together in my mind) have made me start the process of emptying my house. I don't want piles of chit all over the place anymore. Just the basics. 200 Glade candles go beyond basic for me laugh out loud

SO....I have LOTS of expired P&Gs in my binder from last month. Anyone need them?

I am not a TCC regular but I am a friend of tn_native.

I finally got a hold of tn_native on the phone this morning and chatted with her for a while. Power was out last Wednesday and finally came back on early this morning. She already made her pot of coffee! Hopefully, she will have her hot shower and her computer time, soon!

She wanted me to tell everybody that she is doing well and that she appreciates all the concerns and prayers. She is safe and feels grateful to have her family and so many good friends who care about her.

I heard that!

I have never used any of the order flowers online places. I know there have been some ProFlowers deals in the past. I was thinking about sending something to my mom for Mother's Day -- if it's not already to late. Who should I or shouldn't I use. Or should I just go with a local place -- in this case, it would be HyVee.

ETA: hmmm, was just thinking maybe I'll send her a bottle of wine and a few stems of whatever they have in the buckets cheap. I wonder if I can order wine and have it delivered....

Lol.. I love the idea of sending the wine to mom's house with the flowers.
My mom is NOT going to get flowers. I for one cannot afford that and I will call her on mom's day,

It is funny because I so want to sell that gs stuff at her place and she is whining to my aunt's how does kopenney know about the sale?? Who told her, I cannot get stuff ready I will only have three days to get ready for the sale. Funny thing is the sale is on May 21Why does she want to drive up here? Well, let's see. I, the daughter has not been to her home in like three years. I think it would be nice to use her driveway, the main gateway into her town. Big Grin Yes, it is nice to sit and visit with her when no one is around,

She told me she will let me know if I can sell at her place by Friday. No problem I already have a backup plan and place if she says no. I will sell at her sister's house. bounce Which in turn will make my mom mad for like months.

Off to work. Yikes I was supposed to be out the door 15 minutes ago!

What does she have to get ready if you are the one having the sale?

I don't usually do anything for Mother's Day other than call, I just thought I might be nice this year. If we happen to be back there visiting over Mother's Day then I pick up some "serve yourself" flowers. I don't usually pay those ridiculous floral prices either.

This will be my first year without my mom. She passed last June.

GT..I think it's very nice that you want to give your mom flowers. It doesn't matter if they are delivered, from the serve yourself bucket or picked from your neighbors yard. Your message to your mom will be understood by her and that's all that matters.

I can totally relate! My 18 month old has been clingly lately and does the same thing while I'm nursing baby: tries to climb on my lap, falls off, screams, tries it again. lol
A friend shared something she had been doing with her toddlers (her's are all older now), she called it 'blanket training'. She laid a blanket on the floor near her, and offered 1 or 2 'new' (or long forgotten, or lost, hehe) toys and trained them to stay on the blanket to play.
It does take consistency and patience.
And lots of guiding her back to her blanket.
Repeating "No, get back on your blanket".
It took a while, but my 18mo does pretty well now. She would be so miserable (and certainly not quiet) if I tried to stick her in a pack n play. This way she knows that while her blanket is laid out, she needs to stay on it and be quiet. I now have her and 3yo on their blankets while the older 2 are doing their morning schoolwork.
Thanks! I will try this out but I'm going to need to incorporate duct tape and bricks to keep his little booty in one spot for more than 5 seconds!

I've only used 800-flowers but that was during the peelie days Evil

How much do you want to spend?

Wine/alcohol delivery varies by state. 800-flowers delivered wine baskets to my house but my GF in KS couldn't have it delivered.

This is what I've been thinking about...flowers last only a few days and are costly. Why not get a nice potted plant (like a mini rose) for around $10-$15 from a local florist and put $5 GCs (Target, local grocery/drugstore, etc) in the plant on the floral picks used to hold the card. The plant will last and can be transplanted outside and the GCs will be used on things she wants/needs.

Just thinking out loud. Dontknow

Or you can give kitchen essentials baking pans like M2C b/c she's a giver!!! Roll

Morning, everyone! I have been to Wags and CVS this morning. Did great at Wags, but bombed at CVS. None of the ECBs I was expecting printed. Gonna have to go to the thread and figure it out.

Cold, rainy day here. Not motivated to do much of anything but sit here and sip my coffee and surf!!

I'm weary of shopping too. I've been shopping hard core for years and I'm just tired. Adding my 3rd child has sucked all of my energy.

I also had coffee this morning. Coconut coffee with vanilla creamer. drool I needed a pick-me-up on this cold, rainy morning.

Little miss M has been the most adorable thing on the planet. She's working hard on some teeth that are finally poking through her gums! She took an extra long nap this morning and woke up as the happiest baby in the WORLD. She was laughing and giggling and being so silly. She's so stinking adorable.

She waves and says "hello" now, says duck, quack, car, and a few other things. It's so fun right now. I'm having an absolute blast!

Gotta run...

Hope you are all well!
Oohhh How sweet! I love this age, they are sweet and innocent. My little one loves to give open mouthed kisses and you never know when you'll get a huge kiss. heart

I have chicken and dumplings simmering in the crockpot, it is just so chilly here, and it's a bone-warming dish. I hate the cold!

I'm going to drag myself to T tomorrow, haven't been all week. I still haven't cut any coupons from the Sunday paper either. LMAO
