I was at Walmart today and they had tons of baby / toddler clothes on clearance for $1 - and a few bigger kids clothes for $1 too.
I knew I was a SDer when I asked them "Would you happen to have any Lego clothes on clearance?"
that just sounded so wrong. never mind. i'll go back to drinking my wine, and try again later after more wine.

Babies are doing pretty well. My oldest got her haircut and *I* hate it but she loves it, so I don't say nuffin'.
Toddler is uber-hyper lately and pushing all my buttons. I've been trying to wear her out so that she'll either take naps or at least not be a wild child when we're in the house but it's wearing me out! I swear I could go to bed at 5pm. I took her on a walk around the neighborhood - 1 mile and UP some huge hills - made her walk all the way... Yeah. Seemed like it made no difference!! I've been trying to change my approach with her when it comes to behavior and sometimes I think it's working. Other times I"m not sure!
Mavis has been waking up to be the happiest, smiliest, giggliest, playingest baby I've ever seen. She seems to be working hard on the next tooth so she's already down for a nap this morning. My toddler loves to play with her, but I have to be *right* there when they "play". It's pretty cute though because my toddler can get the baby to just laugh and laugh and laugh like no one else.
DH has his lovely tummy problems, but we're working on that.
Cars. Well... I don't know. We finally got a rental - so at least we can kind of get around. We are going to try a squishy run to church on Sunday. It's basically 3 adults and 2 car seats in a toyotta corolla.
The other 2 vehicles... van I haven't officially heard anything back on yet, but they expect to total it. The car gets looked at on the 18th - dh thinks it may be totalled too. Now with whatever is going on with it (radiator, water pump?? something), he said he probably won't even bother asking if we could buy it back. Wouldn't make sense to buy it back and spend $$ to fix it I guess. That reminds me, I wanted to pop the hood and check it out today. Just cuz. I have no idea what I'd be looking at, but it would be interesting to look at.
And I totally forgot that DH was going to work this morning so the shopping I had planned to do is not going to be done. But... that's the way the cookie crumbles.
It's sunny. It's not windy. It's supposed to be 70 today.
Last night Dh checked a spot where we found mushrooms last year. He didn't find any but did find two antlers. The dogs are thrilled.

The cars...ack!! We have one car right now because we can't afford gas for my car. I know what you mean about not being able to get out. When I want to get out, I need to drive DH to work and then pick him up later. Doing that cuts into my cooking, cleaning, etc. He usually works until 7:00 PM and other nights until 9:30 PM or later.

Ohh... maybe kids clothing coupon. I *thought* I had clothes for my toddler, but I either gave them away or was mistaken on what I bought. She needs a couple pairs of shorts. Though, I wouldn't mind a nice adult clothing coupon too - I would love a skirt or dress for summer - and a nice cardigan.
Sunscreen coupon would be nice too. I have a feeling we'll be using a ton of that this year.
I need sneakers, does Target sell good sneakers? Does anyone know?
I don't mind the 1 car thing so much when I plan for it.
I keep forgetting how much energy and time it takes to go shopping with munchkins. I think I can do like 3 stores, but if I actually get into and out of 1 store with everything on my list and my blood pressure intact, that is a good shopping experience!
