made it through the first dental visit.. Wasn't too bad but all they did was an exam and xray.. Looks like I need 2 root canals and crowns
Don't know what scare me most.. the pain, or the bill
DD woke me up at 5 am today and I couldn't get back to sleep.. Guess I was stressing over the dental appt.. I may try for a really short nap before work this afternoon..

just checking in. hope everyone had a good mother's day wknd.
think i still wasn't 100% over the cold and ended up exhausting myself. i did our annual homeowners assoc cleanup sat morn, headed off to the city to have lunch w/ my mom, took her to costco, persuaded her to put back half the stuff in her cart b/c i would give her the exact brands from my stockpile, luckily dh was able to check the status of his baseball tix on db's blackberry cuz they were sold and we would have shown up at the gate and our tix would have been invalid, ended up taking my parents to dinner instead and had to wait 45 minutes for our reservation and ended up eating dinner at practically 10pm. went for an exercise walk sun morn w/ bff, headed out to the city again to pick up dh's grandparents to have a family dinner, drove dh's parents home, dh missed the exit and ended up taking the scenic route home stopping at quick chek for free ice cream sandwiches a/c (good thing they were free b/c not worth paying money for), forgot to see if they were getting rid of the sunday papers so i could ask them for the coupons and ended up home late again. so i ended up literally all day in bed on monday w/ a bad headache and absolutely no energy.
cyberhugs for all those who need one
have to go return my books to the library today or else i will owe them money. have a long list of errands i need to run that i've been procrastinating on. you guys have inspired me to go hunting for the tylenol precise and i did want to roll a few card cats at SNS. luckily the weather has been nice and sunny so hopefully i'll get lots of stuff done this wk.

Been doing a lot of yard work!
Today, went out and sprayed the house for buggies. We spray twice a year to keep out the ants, carpenter ants, wood ants, etc. Been doing my own pest control for years. Much cheaper then having the orken guy come out. Cyper WP is the only way to go. (Shh, don't tell anyone who doesn't agree with pesticides.)
Did some more weeding and of course the most important task of the day...made cake!

My seedlings are doing so well. I am talking to them, caring for them, watering them and they are responding nicely.
Tomorrow morning we shall finish the deck! Woot, I will be happy!!

My favorite is when Noah starts crying and JJ runs back and forth from the baby to me exclaiming BABY as if to alert me that Noah is crying. JJ thinks he's the town crier for all things Noah related. Thank you Captain Obvious, I can ear the baby cry as I'm in the same room.
