Good Morning! We had a playdate with 2 other 2 year olds yesterday. Today, I hear from one of the mothers on FB her son has the stomach virus. Pray I hope my kids don't get it! I hate puke, it makes me puke too. vomit We're also supposed to go to Busch Gardens tomorrow.

I'm looking for a reasonably priced motel near the Mall of America and MSP airport. Any recommendation? Or warnings?

The only time I did MOA I did the hotel on Priceline. Got lost getting there, but then again I couldn't find the car either after shopping. One of the many times I had tears in my eyes because I had no clue where my car was. Very scaring,

My niece and her husband are coming to visit. When they leave to go home, their flight is at 7 am so we are going up the day before and staying over. Most of the hotels in that area have a shuttle to the mall. Back up plan is to write down where the car is... preferable on somebody's body so we can't lose it. Or maybe on everybody's body then if we all get lost we will know where to go.

Snacktime of juice and Goldfish pretzels. JJ proceeds to take spillproof snack cup and turn it upside down to shake all the salt out. He's also learned a work around to the spillproof sippy cup. Take some liquid in mouth and let run out of mouth all over clothes and floor. Please someone tell me that other kids makes constant messes and/or destroy things. These are the first things he tries with everything he gets his hands on. I don't understand what goes on in his little head! Boys are sooooo very different than girls!

Nope, he destroys those too.

I guess I meant to say that my child's first thought with everything is how can I break this. He's not content just playing nicely with anything. Also, the more valuable & off limits the item the better.

morning y'all!

today's goals are to-
  • xerox and mail in my hasbro free pizza offers
  • roll the hallmark card cat deal at sns a few more times
  • target
  • laundry
  • put together my supermarket grocery list w/ all coupons for tomorrow
  • scrub a toilet or 2
  • sort thru one pile of p/w
  • vacuum and put away my luggage already

let's see how much i get accomplished Roll Eyes (Sarcastic). i usually only get 50% of a to do list done.

dh signed up for marriott rewards. i'm sure all the chains have loyalty programs, so if you sign up for one, it will narrow the field considerably. we used a free nite last month in florida for the more expensive nite and we already earned another free nite. dh then uses tripadvisor to check ratings. we almost always end up near the airport b/c their rates are cheaper, esp wknds b/c usually their bulk of their clients are business people mon-fri and don't have to pay for parking normally. we always pick one w/ free breakfast b/c we are not morning people so it saves time to just eat breakfast in the lobby b4 heading out. they will also have coffee and tea available 24hrs. i like to get a room w/ a frig and a microwave. free internet access is good to look for local discounts, restaurants, hours, policies, directions, etc.

i think we stayed at a couple springhill suites last month in florida. they are pretty nice b/c they have a separate living room area w/ sofa and chair, coffee table and tv, and a little kitchenette w/ bar sink, frig, microwave. since you are going w/ your niece, it would be nice to have a sitting area to relax and talk and review your shopping treasure.

i'm sure you are not staying a wk there but just a warning to all that 7 days of the same breakfast offerings gets really monotonous. i told dh next time we stay at multiple hotels we need to stay at 2 different chains. 3 hotels in one wk and they all had just about the same thing for breakfast every single day!

I am lucky to have "chondromalacia patella" and "cystic degenerative joint disease" to boot to my name Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) It sucks to have a doc visit and hear something that you have.. Great , Orthopedic says "NO KICKBOXING".. Mad I am not going to LISTEN... I am having great day ranting all around the home, while the parents are asking me lie down and rest *for who*Cool
Comfort news is that We are going to India for 3 months vacation this may 28th and back only in August bounce DH would return after-a-month-and-a-half. I would be happy to be all by myself..Parents are leaving on 21st

I think i am going to do that with the frozen french loaf (FREE from whole foods) and I am in a mood to eat really well...Tonight it is! I don't have Tone's spread, any alternative???

Thirft, I am still in the same stage, first with DS #1, trust me he is still like that. With DS#2, even bad and I started to feel that DS#1 was lot better, atleast he will listen to me.. The second one, no way always bloody screamer and NEVER LISTENS.
NO CAJOLING OR THREATENING WORKS WITH HIM shake head: I am tired of parenthood, truly!

Still raining here. At least the wind isn't blowing. Mountains are getting mucho snow. They are already at 150% of average. Once it starts to melt, build the ark!

Haven't heard if nephew made it home. Guessing no news is good news. They did a DNA test on his marrow, and it is showing 100% engraftment. Yay!

Haven't shopped all week. Am I missing anything? Need to hook up with Ank and get started on Kroger shopping, DS starts on Monday. The only discount they get is 10% off Kroger brand items. Don't they know that generic is more expensive than name brand? C'mon, play with me here!

Oh, and found sugar free peppermint coffee flavoring at Sam's. Peppermint Mocha's in the Keurig!

It quit raining. I went outside with intention of doing something. I dug out a couple rose buses from hell and came back in. I have no motivation. I planted these roses all along my chain link fence. They grew like crazy -- got huge but no one single rose ever bloomed. Then I found out that's par for the course with these -- climbing Queen Elizabeth.
