Nope. My son was Lego crazy. We lived with them for about 13 years from Duplos to Legos. I think he would still play with them if he had them. We still have his Legos. They are stored. Once he has a real home -- not sharing an apartment -- I am going to deliver them. One handful at a time. Right in the middle of HIS floor.

MOT2 & Kay, thanks I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone.

Just got done with lunch. Got Spider monkey in his highchair and served him his bowl...where he promptly smacked his hand down on the spoon sending the bowl and its contents all over the kitchen. I need vodka and xanax mmmkthx!

Kay sorry to hear about thayt diagnosis...maybe, just maybe you should listen to your mom and dad. At least take a nap for me and send well rested vibes my way! Teehee

Do you have any idea what this is? It is growing all over my backyard.

The back is in such bad shape this year that we are considering stripping it and sodding. Sodding will be a pain in the butt. We will have to keep the dogs off til it takes hold and that will mean temporary fencing and restricting them to the rocked area. A pallet of sod weighs about a ton and that's a bit much for my little bitty truck to haul -- considering it's about 75 miles to the sod farm. And, no, delivery is not an option.

On the other hand, this stuff is doing really well -- to the point that we would also consider pulling the grass and getting weed to spread all over. It's also soft, pretty and doesn't get very tall.

It quit raining. I went outside with intention of doing something. I dug out a couple rose buses from hell and came back in. I have no motivation. I planted these roses all along my chain link fence. They grew like crazy -- got huge but no one single rose ever bloomed. Then I found out that's par for the course with these -- climbing Queen Elizabeth.
i think i have a home depot bogo rosebush q. if you are interested i will look for it and forward it to you.

to me it looks like crabgrass. looks nice now but ugly later and dies in the heat of the summer. blame some stupid a-hole that brought it to the US thinking it would be good for cattle to graze on.

my lawn is being taken over by dandelions.

I just don't think it is. I googled "crabgrass" and looked at a bunch of pictures. Now, I do have crabgrass out there, but it's not this. This stays fairly short and it's teardrop shaped rather that like a long blade of grass. I just mowed yesterday so the tips are mowed off of a lot of it. This also doesn't die out in the summer or at least it didn't last year.

I've seen it before, and am pretty sure we had a few patches growing in our back yard in ND. When you try to pull it up, you don't get any roots. It doesn't have a smell (like creeping Charlie). No clue, but your ring is very pretty!

buddig posted the interview on it's facebook wall and asked for comments. so people in turn asked buddig for comments and they actually are talking.
