I have some email from some of you that I will get to probably later tonight. Gotta fix some supper and get a bath. Supper tonight is going to be various left overs and probably some cottage cheese and fruit.

Sorry I wasn't ignoring you. I saw it and it made me chuckle. Heidi arfs hello too. And my furry hoodlum wouldn't bite you. She might ask you to throw a ball or a wubba though!

I have a question, does this Torani syrup comes without any flavor?
Yes, they do. Sweetener Syrup [torani.com]
But if you just want sweet, why not just use a little Splenda? Much cheaper.

#1 I have done the past 2 tape deals at wags and will be all over this one too. Do you need assistance with figuring it out or just need to ability to locate in one of your stores?
Breakdown, grab 3 tapes, hand over 3 ipqs, then ivc get $1 overage to use in said order. Cool as far as finding them in stock - I wish you luck.
#2 I would LOVE LOVE LOVE barney, but being a begger I would settle for a link to the thread where my lazy ass will read for herself. but....do you have a link to the rebate?
Blowkiss
thank you sweetie for that barney style! Blowkiss

barney style for ink deal:

option 1:
buy $50 in ink
recycle 10
pay 50 + tax
get back 50 + 5 in rewards
net cost = couple of bucks for tax for $50 of ink
benefit: $50 towards $1k annual premier spending total

option 2:
buy $75 in ink
recycle 10
pay $75 + tax
get back 50 + 7.50 in rewards
send for HP 15 gas rebate
net cost = 2.50 + tax for $75 of ink
benefit: $75 towards 1k annual premier spending total

option 3:
buy 100 in ink ONLINE
use 25/100 coupon
pay 75 + tax online
recycle 10 in store same day as online order
get back 50 + 7.50 in rewards
net cost = 2.50 + tax for $75 of ink
benefit: $75 towards 1k annual premier spending total

how premier spending works: let's say you reach premier in July. you would have premier status for all of the rest of 2011 and all of 2012. in 2012 you would work to reach 1k again to have premier for 2013. and so forth.
good thing about being premier - there are many good things, but one of the most obvious ones is that you get to recycle 20 a month, so deals like this one would be automatic MMs.

other thing: people usually get things that are Free after rebate or rewards to reach that 1k total. so battery deals, software deals etc. these ink deals are good ones also to help with that total.

thread here
rebate form in wiki of thread.

questions? Big Grin

or stevia - healthier than Splenda.
kay, WF carries pure stevia in their supplements section (the artificial sweetener industry lobbied the FDA hard and fought and fought it decades ago to prevent pure stevia being called a sweetener. so it can only be labeled as a supplement that one can add to tea, coffee etc Facepalm ) . in conventional grocery stores you find things like truvia, but those have other things added to them, in order to go around the FDA regs.

i have 2 funny stories to share.

1st story-
on thursday i received an email from my SIL that says-
i know you are not a beginner...but this website is interesting
the krazy coupon lady dot com slash beginners slash

she knows i coupon b/c i found out last yr my nephews guzzle powerade so i gave her dozens of tp powerade q's, gave her a shopping bag full of chef boyardee microwave meals fac, suave shampoo fac and other free/cheap stuff.

so i emailed back telling her i have couponed all my life and was she interested in it? she replies back, *it seems like a lot of work, i mean it would be great to get certain things for free...like detergent, toothpaste, paper towel, toilet paper, baggies - freezer or storage...etc...so if you have coupons or good deals for that...save them for me...i caught five minutes of extreme couponing on TLC but then [dh] came up and he made me change the station...but the person had a large stash of those items...since those items don't go bad, i can store them in XX.*

ummm, ok, you watch 5 minutes of EC and now you want me to give you the good coupons and deals so you can also have a free stockpile Rolleyes2.

2nd story-
last nite i was at a dinner sitting next to a friend i hadn't seen in awhile. some how we got on the topic of shopping at costco and i told her i never buy paper towels, etc there, it's usually cheaper at the supermarket and then even cheaper if you have a coupon. so she asks me if i'm one of those crazy couponers. seems her cousin is one and came out her way several wks ago to do the purex deal. she even resells at the flea market (i didn't comment about that). she told me couponing is a high for her cousin.[/QUOTE]

I have had friends do this same sort of thing even before EC (and some even pretend to be really interested in doing it on their own at first) just because they know I coupon and get good deals.....and in the end are just wanting someone to do the work for them shake head Nope.

I don't think there is a 'plain' option....vanilla is probably the plainest you'd find. Flavors: vanilla, caramel (2 different kinds), hazelnut, raspberry, irish cream, chocolate, white chocolate, peppermint, almond, black cherry, strawberry, peach, english toffee, mango, etc. Some seem to be more easily available than others, at least on Amazon.

The vanilla is pretty mild IMO...and they do a good job of sweetening --- it doesn't seem to take much and completely customizable to your tastes. I don't like most artificial sweeteners too well, but I love these!
Looks like there is a plain one, donno If I will find anywhere around, but GG's idea of stevia sounds nice too. Thanks for the help

I love the torani SF syrup.. I don't think they make a nonflavored. So, are you just wanting basically a sugar substitute then? They are all sweetened with splenda, so I guess you could try a packet of splenda or two.. They even make liquid splenda I think, but you gotta order it I believe..
You don't like flavored coffee?
I haven't tried any except for cappuccino, didn't like it though. Never knew there are so many varieties of flavored coffee available and you gals introduced me with keurig, flavors … may be I should start sometime soon.
Have a safe trip to Denver and don't forget your coupons…

Glad that at last you did end up with those elusive mushrooms.
Yeah, Heidi will throw the ball, but you get it back only on your next visit Wink
Thanks for the Torani link. I have used splenda some time back for couple of time, I felt it left some after taste and there was a issue about the aspartame bad for you and all.. so didn't hang out much with it Wink

I don't know why I never thought about stevia.. Does it leave any after taste, I felt it happened with splenda… Only recently I was thinking I am consuming too much sugar and was thinking about the alterative when all the peeps here were talking about sugar free syrup…
We use unsulphured molasses with our smoothie. I am not sure if I want to add molasses to my coffee. Now every time I grab a drink my mom is nudging me to go down with my sugar intake…

Please don't think I am trying to convince you to use any kind of artificial sweetener, that's not the case; but, Splenda is not aspartame. They are two different sweeteners.

My opinion -- and it's just that, an opinion -- is that sugar is far better for us than any artificial sweetener as long as it isn't causing a weight problem. I drink diet pop, I use Splenda so I'm not a fake sweetener hater -- but I am also overweight. It is simply one way for me to cut carbs and calories.

I like stevia and have been using it on-and-off for years, but I still haven't found my favorite brand. Is there any particular one that you like better than the rest?

I don't remember what Kay is trying to sweeten, but would Agave Nectar work? It's organic and sweet and supposed to be pretty good. I've only had it in margaritas laugh out loud , but someone said they even use it on pancakes and oatmeal.

I tried a Pioneer Woman recipe tonight and it was so good! It was a lot of prep, but fun and very easy. The pic is DH's plate, he said it's a keeper and then went for seconds.
