Morning!!

Day 2 went well. No cheating, except for a couple swigs of G2 Gatorade Blush Probably didn't eat enough but really wasn't all that hungry. I guess its working. Today is fruit + veg + soup. Moving along.

Tootsie: How is grandma after last night?

L2B: Check in and let us know how you're doing!

GG: hope you have a pain free day today (or better than yesterday). Have you tried peppermint oil for your migraines? I know I've posted here before about my beliefs in it but it really does help IMO.

What's everyone going to shop for this week. I can't believe we're out of tp, so I am going to be getting some charmin this week.

No shame in 10:00 bed time. I would be in bed right after my boys every night if they let me accomplish anything other than being a referee during the day. Annoyed

charmin ultra soft 9roll packs were on accidental clearance at wags for 1.59. Faint
bounty 6 packs and brawny something packs on 2.xx
then wags central allegedly sent a memo to stores to correct it. most stores have, but worth wandering down to your wags casually and buying. just return if doesn't ring up on sale or change your mind during the transaction. don't price check, cos it's alerting folks.

apparently several store managers and employees filled their cars with paper products. we need both PT and TP. wish i had been able to go get em, i would've snapped em up.

peppermint oil? what do you do with it for migraines, hon? apply it? have it in a drink?

Blowkiss for thinking of me. hug

bunnies i thought i quoted your pins and needles post, but apparently i didn't.

is the pins and needles going down the length of your entire arm, or is it starting off somewhere in the forearm and going to the fingers?

if it is the former, it could be a neck issue.
if it is the latter, it could be because of the bite.

however pins and needles like that can also be a symptom of a mild stroke, or of a blood clot moving and blocking flow in an artery. so it's not something to fool around with. any time you feel numbness and tingling like that in a limb, it's time to head to an ER for an immediate check up.

please get some medical attention for that, hon. praying for ya it goes away quickly.
It's in my forearm...and it effects my pinky and ring finger. The bite is on the same side. I am thinking it has to do with the bite. I have had it for 48 hours and it's not going away.

could be because of the bite. but 48 hours is a long time to have that kind of nerve impact. there are insect bites that can cause that. regardless, time to get medical attention hon. not something to guess around on.

if you're worried about ER copays etc, at the very least, you should call your PCP or have him paged and make clear that you need immediate medical advice. or if you have an urgent care walk-in clinic in your area, go there. but go get it looked at. i

Just smelling it works for me, just by inhaling deep & slowly a couple of times. Also applying a small amount to the forehead and temples (w/o getting too close to your eyes) works. Some people mix it with a little baby oil/olive oil before applying it to the skin. I originally purchased it at a Mother Earth type store, but have since found it wherever they sell essential oils. My DH's grandma always talked about and then recently I saw it on Dr. Oz. There is lots of scientific info on it now too. I love it because it means I take less medication. Smilie

thank you for sharing this info with me! i will definitely get it.

got a really bad migraine yesterday, the first one after several months. but it was the worst i've ever had in my life. i was hearing sounds, seeing strange things, smelling strange smells, was so light sensitive even with curtains drawn and dark sunglasses on i ended up having to put a thick black fleece sweater over my face. Facepalm and i got sick with the migraine. gross.

no fun having a mega migraine together with mega accident pain.

next time we go to WF i'll pick some up! thank you!

I just tried to print and it told me I had already printed. How often do they reset?
Do you know where the tearpads are located (store), I can look for you.

The bite area is still very tender but much better. I actually got bit twice on the same arm, same area. If it doesn't go away by Tuesday, I will call the doctors. I am also thinking it could be from my shoulder? My left shoulder has a knot, I have been feeling it over the last 2 weeks. Almost like it is numb. I have had it treated before. My gut is telling me that there is nothing life threatening going on. You know the feeling...like something is terribly wrong. I promise to call the doc on Tuesday if it's not better. hughug

hmmm. i'm not happy with this negotiation, but if you have an honest gut and not a denial/pushing it away gut then fine, i will grudgingly live with it and hold you to your promise.

i know you are a bunny, but no flip-flopping allowed, ok?

your babies are pretty. and so are the colored pots they sit in.
what kind of babies are these? (tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, blah blah etc)

my migraine is making a come back. i'm not one to swear but seriously WTF? what on earth is my body thinking on a sunny holiday weekend? why bring on more misery than it already has? somedays i seriously don't understand the human body. hmmph.

Thank you all for thinking of grams. She is a tough, sassy, funny lady but this has really been hard on her. She's the rock of the family so it's rough seeing her in this much pain. She commented yesterday that in all my life, I've never seen her be still for so long and it's the truth!! my grammy will run circles around anyone normally. The dr is already saying when she is able to leave the hospital, she's headed to a skilled nursing center for intensive rehab. She keeps telling us, ''TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY AND YOUR BACK!!!" Frown

sounds like your neck actually. I have had horrible neck issues for the past 10 years. It started as a bad knot in my shoulder and progressed to the numbness and tingling in my fingers. Lots of hospitals, tests, physical therapy, and limited mobility since then. Sadwalk Don't mess around and not take care of it!! hug

Thank you for the kind words on my babies.
Funny you should say neck...it triggered a memory. On Wednesday I picked something up and my shoulder ( which had been hurting ) started hurting really bad. I am going to have DH rub it tonight and for the next few nights if he is willing.
