Hello all. Got a heads up on the banana boat lip gc deal and tried it. Didnt work so i paid for 12 tubes of chapstick. Thankfully none of our lips will sunburn this summer.

So i need a recap on how everyone is doing.

I, for one, am on meds that are making me a mega bitch. Yes, i can actually be more of a bitch than i already am.

Noah is WIDE awake! He took a couple cat naps this evening Frown now he's just looking around cooing and kicking his little feet. Mami's tired and would like to go to sleep!

JJ crashed hard as he's spent nearly the entire weekend playing with his cousins from St Louis. He's going to freak tomorrow when they head home. He loved getting a bazillion wagon rides from them...probably because they were as fast as a race car. laugh out loud

Yuck... sorry!! We don't have a/c in our house either.. we have those units for the windows and it is the SUCKS... today its gonna be 85... and I have to clean up my diaster of what is left of my house lol Darn kids

Can you use a portable a/c thing . Buy one or more and return when your a/c is back.

I may have to get one of those window units if I don't hear back. It's supposed to be high 90's all week. Frown

I've got some fans going, so that is helping. I can't even imagine what our electric bill is going to look like! *laugh*

We had 3 days earlier this month in the upper 90s (yeah 99 in early May Annoyed) and didn't have our window units in. It was the suck with 87 as the reading on the thermostat. What we did...in the early morning if below 70 we would open the windows to get cool fresh air in the house, as soon as it was mid to upper 70s we closed up the house, limiting the trips in and out and kept as many curtains/blinds shut to keep the heat out.

Can you take the girls to the library? What about your church? Perhaps they have a room just for kids that they can read books or play with toys in the a/c. If you have a kiddie pool they could play in that in the early evening to cool off when the sun is not high in the sky.

I would be lighting up my landlord's phone if I was in your situation. 95 degrees and no AC is not acceptable, especially with babies and young children in the house. It is his/her duty to get it fixed asap. Grouphug
