I hope you get all your deals!! Smilie Anyone else noticing coupon scrutiny like some folks are reporting? I am thinking I'll do a few small runs and get back into the groove. Not in the mood for confrontations, so if I keep it small, I think I can manage it.

And no... no gift cards are prompting for anything at all in any of the stores ever. They pulled the gift card program for the wider population permanently. To participate in future gift card promotions you must have a Secret Target Shopper Membership that you can only get if you spend $875 dollars pre-coupon in their stores then take it down to .47 post-coupon. Then you will be invited to join with the secret membership invitation that includes (but is not limited to) a jump, triple twirl, bunny-tail wiggle waggle, holler and salute.
I haven't noticed any coupon scrutiny, and I've been shopping *a lot* lately, at all different stores. The only place I get grief is WalMart... laugh out loud

Just came back from the first stop at Bloom. Lots of couponers there, but I was able to get what I wanted. Friend is coming over, we're gonna have lunch, and when she leaves, I'm gonna hit one more. Then probably try to hit one more after church. Hopefully I'll get everything I wanted. And hopefully I won't get sick from the heat. Big Grin

Anyone have a recipe they make for iced coffee. The one I use requires sweetened condensed milk, and I don't have any. I would like to use just plain non-dairy creamer.

Big Grin LOL...

Scratchchin Not sure... I have limited funds, so it's probably not my buy price. Ugh. Dunno... I keep hoping to find a SD on the q's, but looks like the darn things just skyrocket anymore. I can't believe the folks that are paying $1.00 + per coupon for some of the recent ones out. For me, it rarely makes sense after taxes, etc... (and if any of you are doing that... please let me know the logic and forgive me for insulting you!)

Oh, and it took me until just now to figure out what cfm was. laugh out loud Doh

That is so weird. I have had the best time at my WM lately. Yesterday I pm'ed some chips and they didn't even ask where - just said "sure, how much?" I was like EEK!

I also was getting a couple of things with overage and was putting it on to a gc. The girl said the gc had to be rung up separately and I was a bit Cold because I've knew I'd end up with getting cash back - which I HATE to do. Anyways, she took the q's, hit a button, had to wait for CSM approval (which must be done by computer or something now because NO ONE came to the register, it just poofed the message and let the transaction finish), and I got $30 cash back! Faint She smiled and apologized for the wait!! I was so shocked I just went ahead and bought the gc! I should've run away yelling "stc!!!"

And I'm no help on the iced coffee. I have never met an iced coffee that I liked. Frown

For iced coffee......I brew my coffee, stick it in the freezer for a bit to "flash-chill" it laugh out loud Sometimes I will do that then take it out and stick it in the fridge until I am ready to use it. Don't want it frozen. I then put in my sugar-free syrup, a bit of heavy cream, (or you could use half and half or milk or whatever...I like the cream, makes it richer) and coffee creamer to taste. Really just make your coffee however you normally like it and pour over ice. Just don't pour the hot coffee over ice or it will water it down --- you think that'd be common sense but I had to learn from experience LMAO Maybe put just a tad more cream/creamer/syrup whatever because the ice will melt a little no matter what.

If you are buying coupons for possible overage, how do you consider your purchase price point? Is there a % or $$ amount you tend to look for?

I think the deal is over for the suave that I was looking at - I forget food lion's ads run funny. Anyway, *if* I had done it, the math looks like this:

coupon price w/shipping = .40 each

$39.33 suave price at store w/tax
-36.00 coupons
3.33 tax
4.80 coupon cost for 12 q's
8.13 "cost" on the deal
-10.00 store promotion
1.87 "net" overage - or .15 (almost .16) per coupon.

That just doesn't seem like much or worth it at that point. Am I crazy?

I am also considering weaning Mavis. One side of me looks and feels like hamburger meat. I don't know why she prefers to gnaw at one side, but it's driving me crazy. Frown Makes me kind of sad here too. I may do some pumping. We'll see. Sadwalk
I exclusively pumped for 10 months (had trouble in the beginning bfing so I went to pumping non-stop) and stored enough to feed my little one past the one year mark, so if you have any questions, I'm here to help! Good Luck! Smilie

ITA! (Sorry for the text speak Tongue) I started thinking that when the $2 pampers wipes Q was out. People were paying at least $1 per Q+ S/H and I was thinking, if you have a store that doubles, it made a lot more sense to buy the $0.50 Q that was out the same month. I think the most expensive Qs I ever bought were some B2G1 glade back in the day...

Hmm... that's not too bad. Wonder why I missed that. Thanks!

My main worry is with getting enough through pumping. I have never had a good/easy time with pumping. I need to get some storage bags too! I am wondering if I will still be able to get anything from the one side if I let it go for a couple days to heal. I would hate to quit producing, but it HURTS!!

Good morning hug

So nice to have an off day today.. I mean, this is the first day in months that I had absolutely nothing I *had* to do.. no school, work, kids to taxi, etc.. Can't decide what to do with my day.. It is going to be a hot one here.. temps are supposed to reach 97 today EEK! and I hate getting out when it is hot, but I think I am going to go and enjoy my day Smilie

I am currently sitting and sipping my second cup from the Keurig and loving every minute of it. Seems like forever since I have been able to just sit and relax.

Already read some books to my toddler and played pixos.. Ya know, I actually really like those things. I got one set from target a month ago when they were 75% and wish I had gotten more. They seem really cute.. Now, the moon dough on the other hand, I hate!

I think I will throw some chicken in the crock pot for dinner, make a few appointments, then get ready and head out. So far my plan is to hit old navy and return some things that I bought before Easter (anyone know what their return policy is?), then take my toddler by somewhere with an indoor playground and let her play.. I am hoping we will have lunch before we go and then just get an ice cream while we are out.. then we are going to target to grab some stuff and look for a kiddy pool..

What else should I get from target.. I don't really want to look and search the deals thread.. I am way behind the last few days and I will admit that I am lazy Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Thismom- wasn't there some kind of learning cards that were cheap?

I am gonna get TGIF, gum, pain reliever, and not sure what else..

Ank - I know what you mean about the weaning.. I was sad when I weaned my last 2.. just seemed like they grow up too fast. On the dipe thing, I admire you anyway.. I am *much* too lazy for cloth diapers and have only used disposables.

Okay - on the suave coupons. I got a set of 15 from the bay 2 days ago for 1.50.. got free shipping cause I ordered a few other things.. I am trying to figure out the best place to use them though :scratchhead:
I won't pay a ton for coupons.. especially because months happen where I don't get to use them all and I feel like I waste money.

Iced coffee- I have never tried.. doesn't sound good to me at all.. I guess cause I can't even stand lukewarm coffee. Mine has to be steaming hot.

Ank - what are you getting overage on at WM these days? I need a good overage coupon.

Silly GT! Us Keurig-users don't have leftover coffee Tongue Well, I take that back, sometimes we do because dh still makes his in the normal coffee pot though he drinks a ton of coffee so I dunno if he has any left over or not but good idea. Hopefully that will soon change though...the Solofill cups for Keurig were down to $12, buy 3 get this free EkoJava coffee on Amazon or whatever. Had been wanting to try them anyway since they get such good reviews so we finally bit the bullet. If this works we may do away with the reg. coffee pot OMG

I used to be this way too, and I still don't really like them *from* other places but with the Keurig I feel the need to be my very own barista laugh out loud and like to make myself all sorts of concoctions. Usually in the summer I would just not drink much coffee but this year I thought I'd give iced a whirl and drool have been loving it!

Good Morning! Sun is trying to peek out, should hit 90 today!

Spam. Pretty much a staple in our house.

Beets, my Grandma used to pickle them. Haven't had a good one since she stopped. Maybe the nursing home will let her in their kitchen to make me some? She used to plant them in her fenced backyard, always got stolen! Embarrassment

Ank, what are you buying at Kroger that is prompting CAT's? I really need to start shopping there more, especially since they are keeping DS occupied 40 hours a week this summer!

Colored my hair with John Frieda this weekend. Interesting. My hair is super soft, and shade 8G.

Really hoping to get our garden planted, and to train the dog not to dig it up!
