Yeah for someone with cravings again woot (I loved it when ank used to post her cravings).

I'll never forget my first day with a hearing aid... I was stupid enough to go to WM of all places. Who knew that you could hear the baby crying 4 rows over, the Mama yelling at her kids, etc. I had such a headache by the time I left.
I learned to take them off before I go into WM bulb

Yes yes. I heart it when Ank posted her cravings. Those cravings sounded yummy at times.

Oh my gosh. with the old hearings aids I almost always close my eyes when I walk into WM and Victoria Secrets. Both stores must be using the same security systems the buzzing they produce hurts my ears. You hearing people hear that aweful noise? Super static...is a way to describe it.Wonder is the new ones will do that too? Oh oh. I wonder what will happen today at work? heart

I know you already had hearing aids, so these are a lot different, better?

We live over an hour from pretty much everything. So, the day DH got his BAHA activated, we stopped at Menards (like Lowes or Home Depot) to pick up a few things. Poor man bout jumped out of his skin every time something slammed and banged. And I told him, "you think this is bad, wait til you go to Wal-Mart".

Oh, I was meaning to ask you if you have done much research or know much about homeopathic help for hyperactivity?
Not really homeopathic and I have NO experience with ADHD kids of my own. (yeah, that's my disclaimer!) But there's some pretty interesting stuff on controlling/helping with caffeine and/or Mt. Dew. Give it a google.

Public schools aren't licensed to practice medicine. They can't put your child on drugs. I'm hearing that many are trying though.
But it's so much easier to deal with a classroom full of little zombies rather that a herd of normal, active somewhat obnoxious children. Gee, you have a problem with that?
==================

I got in the pool yesterday. Water temp was 58. I was fully prepared to freeze. Oddly enough, I was quite comfortable the whole time and I was in there well over 2 hours. Never got cold at all. I scrubbed the bottom with the vacuum head. Then I did the walls with the wall brush, then the bottom with the wall brush just in case I missed any. I went across the pool east to west, then north to south. So, I think, I hit every inch of it. Can't tell for sure because the water started getting hazy from stirring up the little particles. At least the water is clear, not green. Just cloudy. Filter will clear that in a couple days.

We have a lot of Grackles (a type of Blackbird) around here. In the spring they clean out their nests and they carry these creepy, icky blobs and drop them. I refer to the as poop bombs because that's what they are. For some reason, they are attracted to pools and they bomb the hell out of it. The side rails will just get covered. Oh, and the ones they drop in the pool, stay together and sink to the bottom. Step on one of those sometime. Anyway, my solution to the poop bomb problem is rubber snakes. I lay them all the way around the pool. It works. This morning, while pouring my coffee, I looked out the window. There was a bird on my pool walking around it. It literally walked right on 3 of my snakes. I don't know if it was a Grackle though, I couldn't tell but I don't think it was, if it was it was a young one. Either way, this did NOT make me happy.

It's supposed to be 90 today but once again, it's windy. I get so tired of wind all the time.

Gutter guy came yesterday to give us a price. We scheduled it so he will be back in a couple weeks to do aluminum seamless gutters. I can think of far more exciting ways to spend $1,300 - $1,400.

I have a nearly mint condition vintage station wagon for sale on a station wagon forum. (1971 Galaxie 500 Country Sedan) Gotta go upload some pictures of the engine bay for some guy who is asking for them. I would really like to sell this and get it out of my way. It's a pretty cool wagon.

Forgot a couple things:

One of you has a father living in the Sioux City - Dakota City area. Is he evacuating or is he in a safe area? I think today is supposed to be the first of the big water release days.

Huh, there was something else I forgot that I was going to ask or say. But since I started this post, I have now forgotten it. Again. Dammit.

Glad I can help! laugh out loud

Now I'm craving cottage cheese and strawberries. I only eat cottage cheese while I'm pregnant.

I have tons of cravings, whenever I hear about a food that sounds good, I crave it. I do have one exception, Chinese food. It's made me violently ill with all 4 pregnancies. So weird 'cause I normally love it!

I supposed I should go outside and weed. I have a 50' fence line that needs attention. The weeds are bigger than some of the rose bushes. And I have a bittersweet vine to rip out of there. I don't know if it just showed up -- planted by the birds or if I planted it. But either way, it's gotta go. They are poisonous and invasive. I'm pretty sure there's a rose bush under/inside/surrounded by it that desperately needs rescued.

I have an idea for more plantings along that line. Now if Bomgaars would just give me a couple hundred dollars in plants, I could have some dirty fun.

Does T sell sewing machines. I've never sewed more than a button on a pair of pants but I think I need one so I can start making some stuff for the new house. I ordered some fabric for some stuff for Cole's elephant room and it just came in.
