I've thought about that but, I don't really sit out tanning very often. I go to the Ocean City for one week each year and out of that week I might be on the beach one or two days. Otherwise it's just from being outside working in the yard/garden/etc. or just being outside. Dontknow Unless I want to start wearing suntan lotion every day I'm not sure what else to do.
Start wearing sunscreen every day is exactly correct. Every burn adds to your skincancer risk. Three to five peeling sunburns before age 18 adds about 25% to your skincancer risks. Go Google skincancer risk assesment test. It should be a 20 question test. I was at more than 100% odds before I get to question 15. And they started cutting pieces off to biopsy at 19. At 33 they found the first cancerous one.

I don't either. Probably not too many though. I was/am and "indoor gal". Until I got this pool, if I burned it was because I HAD to be outside for something.

I'm wearing this under my makeup daily: http://www.amazon.com/Neutrogena-...888&sr=8-6

and I always wear SPF 50+ when I'm out in the sun. And I still tan. My kids are sprayed down religiously before swim team and we use the face stick on them and they are beginning to look like they belong south of the border. Roll By the end of the summer they will be dark. No burns, though! Whee

Thinking about it, I'm not sure I find the Scratchchin satisfactory. I'd like to see a beard/goatee scratching/stroking version.

There are days I can't tell where my beard ends & my chest hair begins. Down

What's the SPF on chest hair? It's got to be, like, 80, right?

Here's hoping! It's unlikely that I'll ever be quite that hairy.

I'd prefer for the model to be me, of course. I think I've done enough recently to empower Autumn's self-aggrandizement.

I think Crisco has a higher SPF rating than 4. That said - I don't really burn even if I don't wear anything. I have to really overdo it to burn, and then it's a day of peeling and I'm good to go. Dontknow
Same here. I haven't ever really burned much (even when I've used tanning enhancers). I've spent countless days at the beach without any form of sunscreen and been perfectly fine. I don't tan or burn easily.

Quote from redjen910 :
Wow. Some of you will be changing your tanning tunes once a biopsy comes back bad and they start cutting pieces off you every year.
Yeah, there was a period where I used tanning beds pretty regularly without giving it much thought. Then my grandmother got cancer (she's fine now) and that woke me up enough to cut it out. I wear sunscreen on my face/neck/chest everyday (& my hands when I'm not being lazy) and make an effort to protect my skin from the sun. Prevention is important to me but I'm sure I could be doing more. The beach is probably my biggest problem... I just can't give up going to the beach; I love it too much.
