Mine has never been slow or had a virus. Any pc I've ever owned is another story.

All I know is that they don't give me any problems!

I am in contract with At&t, my contract doesn't run out til end of 2012. I had Iphone 3gs before then bought an Iphone 4 without a contract and sold it last week to buy the samsung galaxy s2. I thought the price for the galaxy s2 would drop due to iphone 5....but I am guessing that ain't gonna happen.

That's what I am trying to say...LOL. Nothing about an Apple computer is special, and definitely not worth the mark-up of 3-4 times that of a Windows based PC. Apple came out with the ipod and they dominate that market. Apple came out with the ipad and for now dominate that market, but not for long. If a Windows 8 tablet is coming out soon, I think that will be the end of Apple's reign in that area.

Apple may innovate as perviously said, but once they come up with an idea they aren't capable of improving on it enough to keep it relevant. The only exception is the ipod/mp3 player market.

lol not play games but use them for work, I think people who know less about computers find apple better, not me personally. Not a shot at you, just my thoughts. My moms computer would run like garbage and I would have to clean it up. Now with her Mac, she doesnt have problems. Just b/c its simpler and she can click click click away on things and not have it effect it much.

A little disappointed with the announcement. Oh well, I can wait until next spring. Still under contract until January anyway. Sort of have many of us over the barrel anyway, with the iPhone being the only decent phone option out there now. Android is junk. Their brand new flagship phone barely lasts 6 hours before the battery dies. Everyone seems to be running from Blackberry like the plague. Windows hasnt had a viable phone in years, so they are done.

Why bc I can build the machine I type this on? I think his apple-mazda comment was dumb, but I agree with him on Apple computers being over priced. And I can say this b/c I can build better machines then top of the line for 1/3 less if not half as much as their top models. And my computers run smoothly and bug free. Again, making my choice of opinion on fact not just " its less buggy" lol

None of my PCs have ever had a virus, or been slow. You just need to know what you are doing with a computer to be able to maintain one. Conversely, every Mac I have ever used has crashed on me, while I was using it.

Being slow is usually caused by a "virus", viruses are always user error, not the fault of the computer. wave

Either you clicked on something you should not have, were too cheap to buy a decent antivirus like ESET NOD32, or ignored all of your updates.

Viruses aren't as relevent on Apple computers, because why come up with a virus for 10% of the user base? Windows is 90% of the user base, so of course there will be more.

I haven't had a virus on any of my Windows PC's in the last 10 years.
