Hey everyone Wave Guess I am probably the only one up still Frown

Just got home from a 15 hour shift at work.. I am exhausted but gotta wind down for a few minutes before crawling in bed..

Didn't get great sleep last night. My DD decided to wake up wanting mommy at 4 am. I had her back down by 4:30, but then I was awake and couldn't drift back off until after 6 am.. Made for a sleepy morning.. That girl is funny, she has been my worst sleeper of the 4 kids.. even at 3 years old, she still has times where she doesn't sleep all night.

Oh well, gonna grab a quick snack, some water, and head off to bed!

Looking forward to some target shopping tomorrow for my off day. SUpposed to be 98 here with a heat index of 105 or so.. I need to find a cool activity to keep us busy Smilie

Morning! I've been up for a couple hours, just now sitting down at the computer.

Hey, does your local theater offer cheap movies on Tues/Wed during the summer? Ours does (Regal Theater). They're $1 each. That might be a nice cool way to spend the morning! We're not gonna go this week 'cause I'm not a huge fan of either of the movie choices, but we did go last week and the kids will go next week with their aunts.

I'm trying to figure out what to do today. My sister is coming over around 11 to take a shower, because their water heater broke this morning. Faint Flooded their utility room and their family room. Such a bummer. How does that even happen?!

So anyway, that kinda breaks up my morning. Not sure if I should just resign myself to not going out until hubby gets home, or try to squeeze in a grocery store this morning or something.

Decisions, decisions.

Coffee! That's what I keep meaning to make this morning! Thanks for the reminder Flug! I've made 2 different breakfast options for JJ and he's not having either. Homemade pancakes w/ a banana or scrambled eggs with cheese stick. He's so dang picky. I see his lower canines are about ready to pop through, so perhaps he's not feeling the greatest. I'm really glad I got 2 sets of the Gerber toddler plates with lids...b/c most of his meals end up back in the fridge. Sadwalk One of our goals with the doc is increase appetite and foods he eats.

Okay.. On my second cup of coffee now.. seems like I am going through the kcups these days drool I usually only have one, but today I need the extra.. Went to sleep at 3:30 and my DD was up at 7:30.. poor thing just can't seem to figure out when to get up this summer.. the whole routine is off and it seems to get bright outside so early and she gets up when the sun comes in her window.. but then every few days she catches up on sleep and will sleep really late.. Saturday morning we all slept in and she didn't get up until after 11am OMG oh well, gonna enjoy summer while we can.. only a month until the busy school time starts back up Frown
Went on the porch and had some coffee while my DD played in the sandbox, now she came inside and is watching superwhy and acting pretty sleepy. If she takes a nap, I may try for one too Smilie

I will check on the movies.. we don't have a regal nearby, but ours may do it.. I used to go to the free ones here when the other kids were little, but now that they are older they aren't into that so much.. and my 3 year old is just getting to where she will sit through most of the movie. DH took her to see cars2 last week when I was out seeing my brother. He said she made it 3/4 of the way before getting restless..

I plan on relaxing this morning and maybe shopping this evening.

For anyone with a Keurig machine - have you had problems with it turning itself off randomly? Mine just started that this morning, and I'm thinking its about to die... Sadwalk

EEK! hope it doesn't. I think HD had great customer service with keurig when her machine acted up.

Yeah, I know I remember reading about someone having a great experience. I let it sit for a little bit, then turned it back on, and it went through the whole heating cycle and then did brew a cup, without turning off. I'm thinking its a little temperamental and gets a little testy every now and then. All I know is - I can't afford to buy a new coffee machine every year when they cost $100 a pop, so it better last a whole lot longer!

Morning to you, too! hug And I know - I heart my K-cups, and would be very sad. The thing is - there are pros and cons for the Keurig, and the biggest con, in my book, is the price. So if it breaks down after just over a year of use, then I don't think I could bring myself to buy another one. Esp considering how much less I can pay for a regular drip coffeemaker and it will last forever.

Getting some things done in the house this morning, and I'm a little proud of myself!
