Heading out the door - going to get donuts, then storytime at the library, and then shopping at the mall, then Target. And then finally back home.
Funny poop story to get the day going...my 2yo daughter was "helping" me get ready, going through my little basket of toiletries while I did my makeup. She would pick up an item, and ask what it was. She found a trial size of shampoo and was like, "What is this, Mommy?" I said, "Shampoo." She goes, "Shampoop?!"

Wanting to get a jumpstart on planning for our DisneyWorld vavation next year.
Does anyone have good suggestions on what Disney resort to stay at? We have 6 in our family.
I get a little overwhelmed looking at all the different options!! And man, are some of them ever pricey!!! I definitely want the kids to have an amazing experience while there though!

Depends on how accessible your gas line is. We have a full basement so stuff was accessible. Before we finished the basement and closed in the ceiling we ran gas and 220 to both the stove and the water heater so we had a choice. My DH does that kind of stuff so it wasn't a big deal at all but I guess it could be difficult if you don't have any idea what you are doing.
Monkey boy came down the stairs and locked the door. When I asked him to open it, he would get the lock almost turned all the way, then laugh and turn it back to the locked position. We asked him to go get the oldest dd to help him. Ok, and off he walks into the living room, where he becomes distracted by the Lego table. Next thing we see, he is running past the glass door with a Lego plane in hand. *sigh*
Thank goodness bunnies is a joke-ster or she might take it personally...or may be she should take it personally...Ha! That'll show them...or perhaps I fain hurt feelings and they will all come crawling back with their apologies...hmm..what to do, what to do.
I was gonna take my DD to the 1.00 movie, but we totally slept to late to make it.. I would have needed to be out the door by 8:30 and that so didn't happen..
She wants to go to the indoor playground at chickfila or as she calls it chick o lay

Just got a call that my brother has had a setback.. He had been doing well over the weekend.. Slowly he was eating again and feeling stronger. They had planned on possibly sending him home yesterday.. but, he started getting sick yesterday and throwing up.. The cat scan this morning showed another obstruction and the surgeon is coming in to talk to him today.. Now, he doesn't get to eat, they put his tubes back in, and had to start him back on pain meds
If you are a praying person, I would really appreciate special prayers for him today!

You got it! I am sorry he is having a set back. If they have to do surgery will they reopen him or is this a different surgery? I am also praying that his spirit does not dwindle.
But, the short story is that he has a very large tumor on his pancreas that grew into the intestine and caused a blockage.. They can't remove the tumor right now because it is too involved with blood vessels, arteries, etc and the risks are too great.. originally they were planning to try to shrink it with chemo and radiation, then attempt removal.. But, when he got the intestinal blockage before, they had to do something emergency to fix that, so they basically just opened him up and reconnected his stomach and intestine, bypassing the part affected by the cancer.. Now, I would guess another surgery would depend on *where* in the intestine the blockage is, and if they can bypass that as well..
so, I know that is a long boring explanation just to say, I really don't know right now..
My niece was with him when I called and I asked her to please call me as soon as the doctor comes by..

We are planning a trip to Disney next year too. End of May for us, as that is when DS will be playing (highschool band) in the main street parade! We have been many times and have stayed at Pop Century, All star movies and most recently at Port Orleans French Quarter. We love Pop century, mainly because it is a Value and most affordable. However, it is a lot more chaotic than the French Quarter that we stayed in last time. We don't mind the noise and rukus that goes on there and it is alot more Disney themed than the FQ.
You may need to check out All star Music (value resort) or the new Art of Animation (value) in order to accomadate 6ppl. I believe the regular rooms only allow 4 ppl. I will be making our reservations here in the next few weeks. We are soo excited. If you have any other questions I may be able to answer just send me a PM.

I would like to do a "moderate" resort such as Port Orleans. Can we get away with staying there with a family of 6? I know on the website that it says it only sleeps 4. Are they strict on the number of people staying in one room?
